Something Awful thread talks about Gaia Online

So I was surfing SF and someone linked people to a thread in the SA forums that talked about GO, because a staff at gaia had anonymously made a post about backwings there that contributed to more rage in the forums here.

acronyms everywhere!

Things I noticed:
1) People's post quality was so....IDK...good. I mean OMG FULL PARAGRAPHS...FREQUENT, MULTIPLE TIMES eek . It takes me a good couple of minutes to read through a page!! crying Why is post quality/quantity so good there? Come to the GCD SA people...come to the GCD....

2) Tons of people who joined pre 2008 seem to be posting their thoughts about Gaia

3) A lot of people seemed shocked at the value of virtual goods/pixels


Meh. Just thought some people here would enjoy reading through that thread.
We could like, talk about them talking about us mrgreen

I've seen ED's entries on Gaia before. those are pretty funny. oh and entries on Urban Dictionary are fun to read from time to time.

i guess i just don't surf other forum websites much. actually today is the first day i've ever heard about the Something Awful forums.

gaia and volconvo are pretty much the only forum websites i visit regularly in my life.

something about how the wings are supposed to be super hard to the point where they expect users to be super mad about it for months and months. don't take my word for it though search for the post....someone in the backwings thread in SF quotes the entry in a recent post.

i don't think people get fired for talking about work on other websites, unless they rag on their company in a negative way. the staff person seems relatively nice/collected about his/her responses.

I saw it he said they wanted to make them to be a challenge to get,we knew backwings we're going to be difficult.He did say they are checking SF

I bet people will ask for a public apology again

The responses aren't bad at all,I think Gaia should have just left backwings alone,this whole thing has been caring on for months and I don't see it getting better from both sides at all.
