Why do people think it is cool to AI?

If I'm going to inflate an item (not that I ever would), I wouldn't broadcast it out in public. Now someone, or many other people, know what he's planning and therefore the plan is not going to work. I mean. . Hasn't he ever watched any of the James Bond movies?- Even when you think you've won, NEVER tell anyone about your diabolical plan. It's the dumbest thing you CAN do.
This is why I love criminals. They're so stupid.

I can't imagine anyone earning much of a profit from artificially inflating game items or cheap gold shop items. But then, I also can't imagine anyone that has two brain cells to rub together would actually buy those hyper-inflated junk items. Especially the starter clothes or the items available through a gold shop with a link to said gold shop at the top of the MP page.

I have made MILLIONS off selling TOO AIers.
It's partially how I got my hands on my OMG, all them years ago.

Sabin buys item for 100k at such and such a time.
AIer douche comes along and AIs the item to hell.
Sabin goes =DDDDD and lists the item for much cheaper. AIer PMs Sabin.
Sabin trolls em up and sells item to AIer for 250-500k
Sabin buys back item when it drops down again.
AIer has less gold to AI again in the future.
Sabin has more gold, and the item still.
????

While attempting to toy with the marketplace, the AIer gets toyed with instead. Karma is highly profitable when you're on the right end of it.

Yeah, I've done they whole profiting off of AIers thing.
Just give it to them for 100k less and you're still making a ton of gold.

I should mention that in the event an innocent person does buy my item at the cheaper price that is still AI'ed I will usually give them their gold back, or PM them to inform them the item was AIed and what I was doing, and ask if they want to work something out since they got ripped off by my own profiteering actions.

Only happened a few times though, thankfully.

I think sometimes it is more about being in control, "I can manipulate the system" than it is about profit....but mostly it is probably about profit.
