NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101 PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go! Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it. Mechanics: Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with... Dice Rolls and What they Mean! 1-4 - Broken Bone 4-8 - Fever 9-12 - Heat Stroke 13-16 - Hypothermia 17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so. After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbersTotal Results and their Meaning 1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon! 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! 12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up! What Repeating Numbers Mean No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all. Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it. Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class! If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy! Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up! Bonus Mechanics:For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy. YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN... - You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

Well, the proof was in the pudding, as they said right? Jack had decided he was going to faithfully work on this one course, having felt that the first try had not only been pretty invigorating, but he also felt that he had learnt a thing or two. But he wouldn’t tell anyone, that was his secret - this was his little pass time between other classes. Better to heal than be idle in battle, yes?
Looking over his dummy, his tail flickered softly before putting his hand on it - the warmth just about radiating, a humid sweat over it. Definitively something to do with heat exhaustion of a sort.

Taking some cooling pads and water, he attempted to compress the skin a little, pouring water over the body to try and alleviate the heat that the dummy was feeling, keeping an eye on a thermometer that he was using to gauge the body temperature. Sure he used a little more of the supplies that he was given, but he felt that it was worth it, watching the body temperature balance back to what was considered normal.
Clapping his hands together, he leaned back, feeling that content rush again at a job well done.

This seemed familiar. It had been a couple days since he had re-signed for the next day of practice, feeling that if he continued, it would stick with him one of these days. But for now, it was just . . . This was really familiar. Looking over his dummy, he screwed his face up a little, green eyes staring at it. This was a fever again - the flushed skin, the perspiration (was it always going to be perspiration . . ) and the warmth.
He knew how to do this - it happened the first time, and he was going to heal the crap out of this dummy and get it over with.

Even Jack could admit that this was a bit of a patch up job - the dummy was comfortable and the fever had broken - but he had taken ill amount of supplies and sort of messed around more than healed. It was a lesson he would take back though - one shouldn’t just dilly around in this kind of situation . . . But he had done it right?
Clearing his throat, he looked around for the people who weren’t there, and patted his dummy, the soft and now dried skin showing no fever, no issues. A pass was a pass, and it was another day. . .

Wasn't he just here?
Looking down at the dummy, his tail flicked left and right, the cat-student frowning at the dummy. Was it just constantly getting sick so it could come around and try to woo him in to a false sense of security. But he had conquered this once before, right?
He was out for qualifications, not romance.
Sorry.

Well, it seemed like the same old same old, considering that he had done this before hand - were they trying to tell him something with repeating the processes. He supposed that practice made perfect, right?
Looking his dummy over, he gave it a nod, sure, he kind of cut corners here and there when he was finished, but hey, the dummy looked like he was comfortable enough (with a fever dropping a little . . .) and he figured it was a job well done again. He had passed, and although Cricket felt that it could be considered . . . a little lazy, it would do.

This one was new - looking down at the dummy, he bent down on one knee and peered over it's . . . body of a sort, heat almost exuding off it like a fever - but there really wasn't many signs of a sickness - the body was hot but it didn't seem to be sweating it out or anything, and it was brighter in shade.
Something to do with a heating issue?
Turning over, he looked at his required items, hoping to find something that would help him with . . . this. (At least it wasn't a fever again.)

As quickly as he could, he grabbed his pack and took what he could, liquid wise. They were chilled as well as he was going to get them, and . . . after some fancy work and whatever he could do, he got the body back down to a reasonable temperature - making little mistakes here and there, but he was trying, right?
After he completed his task, he looked over the dummy. This was getting . . . better. At least.

New day, new attempt at this.
Wandering in to the room he looked at the doll. It was almost like the last time, the temperature of the dummy was off. . . unlike the heat stroke this one was. . . cold. Like an uncomfortable cold that made it feel clammy and as if nothing was going right. Clearing his nose, he placed his hands on his hips lightly, looking over at his pack.
He needed warmth. Now.

First the dummy was so hot that it couldn't dispel it's heat, making it sick. Now it was cold - and clammy and just generally not feeling well. After a few moments of thinking, he looked at his supplies and started pulling what he needed, a few blankets, a hot pack, something to drink (for himself hoho), and started applying the warmth to the dummy.
Of course, he felt silly about wrapping a naked dummy, but in his defense, he had heard something about it being best, sweating and all.
