[1v1] Lets get down to business (Mitsu/Shun)

To defeat the hunters...

Or at least have some victories against them.

With everything slowly building up for the seed's mission plan to be executed, Shun felt it was best to be as prepared as possible in every way. One way was through honing one's fighting abilities. Not only did he want training for himself, but he wanted to make sure Mitsu could defend herself as well.

"Meet me in the gym. We're training today," the Reaper said to her with a phonecall. After the call was made, he went down there himself, where he waited quietly for his girl to come.  

[Inu-Mitsu]

After the call Mitsu had set her phone aside and decided it would be best to get ready. She changed from her dress into jeans and a t-shirt before she headed out of her room and toward the gym.

The lycan hadn't gotten as much one on one training as she would have liked. Most of her training involved whatever she did on her own. Not that it wasn't important, she was still honing her ability to use her strength and not break things as well as trying to improve her speed and other abilities. It was just that her main focus as of late was First Aid and even applying it to her FEAR.

Once at the gym Mitsu only had to scan shortly before she found Shun and trotted toward him with a smile on her face. She had obviously come a long way from the girl who was too timid to show up without being tricked.

"I made it." Obviously, but she felt the need to announce it. "What did you want to work on today?"

Nodding to Mitsu as she came in, Shun's expression softened briefly as it normally did. Though, it soon took on a more serious (is that even possible?) edge as his daggers appeared into his hands.

"Combat," he said simply while getting into stance.

Was the Reaper going to take it easy on the one he loved? Not at all. If anything, the way he felt for her gave him more reason to try hard. After all, their enemies won't be going easy on them.

"Defend yourself."

It was all Shun had to offer before he rushed in towards the wolf girl. Gripping onto his daggers tightly, he brought a leg up to first kick her in the side. As his leg came down, he quickly followed up with another attack, spinning to slash at her with one of his daggers.

Yes. He wasn't going easy at all.

[Inu-Mitsu]

Mitsu had no time to say a word. He had simply instructed that they were going to focus on combat and came at her with only two simple words. Defend yourself. Well, the instruction had come a little too late because Shun's daggers made two nice slices, one across her arm and another on her upper chest.

"Ah, you could have let me get ready." QQ

Flailing a bit Mitsu scrambled out of the way of further attacks before coming back around. She decided that perhaps it would be best to trade blow for blow and threw a hard punch at Shun's shoulder.

"A hunter wouldn't wait," Shun said, again in a rather neutral tone. He was glad that she managed to do a counter attack; a pretty good one too in fact. Gritting his teeth, he took the blow to the shoulder, knocking him back for the moment.

"Good. Though the head makes a more effective target," he advised. If he had taken that to the head, he would have been dazed for sure.

Crouching down for the moment, he made a few swipes at the girl in response, hoping to keep her on her toes.

[Inu-Mitsu]

"But I don't...." Well, he had told her. Might as well go along with it. As he came in for a strike Mitsu barely noticed the cut as she drew back a fist and aimed a punch at Shun's head. Maybe....she had went a little overboard?

Shun could see the fist coming, but he was unable to get out of the way. And it connected. Hard. It was actually enough to knock him off his feet. It also did well to daze him. Groaning, he pushed himself back to his feet, trying to recover from that hit.

"Much better..." he said quietly before darting off to the side, preparing to flank her. He was gaining speed pretty quickly too.

[Inu-Mitsu]

Seeing Shun speeding up after he had regained a bit of composure, Mitsu was sure to draw up her shield. She had seen him do this before shortly before he did the poof attack. Mitsu really didn't want to be stabbed from all angles so instead she poured her fear into her shadow, the wolf taking shape and standing in front of her.

The white void like eyes trained on Shun and was sure to watch him quickly moving in the path of where ever he might strike.

Shun could see Mitsu's barrier begin to form. And thus, he leaped for her and quickly set off his FEAR in an attempt to get his attacks in before she could get it up all the way. He disappeared, only to show up again at multiple angles, striking wherever he could.

Though, he was quick to notice that each time his daggers only dug into the body of the wolf shade, rather than the girl herself.

"Not bad," he said while letting out a breath as he landed a few feet away.

Pleased to get praise Mitsu smiled, her tail wagging. "Thanks!" OuO

This was said promptly as her wolf dissipated into nothing and she leaped forward to aim another punch at Shun's face. All the love, she was following his instruction to the letter!

Another fairly solid blow on the wolf girl's part. Reeling back from the punch to the face, Shun shook his head to try and get rid of the dazed feeling she left behind. Once he that was done, he shifted forth to try and knee her in the gut in return.

He had waved one of his daggers to try and catch her attention before doing so.

[Inu-Mitsu]

As Shun might have hoped Mitsu's main focus was on his weapons and trying to avoid them. He relied on them so often she didn't expect the sudden knee to the stomach. The wind fleeted from her lungs as she staggered back to catch her breath. As she retreated she made a swipe at her reaper so he would keep his distance while she regained some composure.

Though he tried to move back, Shun hissed as he took another hit from his wolf. She was doing pretty well in this fight and quite frankly he was proud of her. Though, he didn't show this just yet as he was still in a fight with her. Letting out a breath, he moved in and made another slash to her.

[Inu-Mitsu]

Mitsu was quick to move back and out of the way of another one of Shun's attacks. Trying to grab for his arm, Mitsu attempted to use the reaper's momentum against him and flip him onto his back. She had seen this done and had practiced it a little but never in combat so she really didn't know if it would work. It seemed simple though. Worse case scenario she broke his arm? 8|'a oh that would be bad.
