There's not nearly enough information for me to judge. I'm not really into Pokemon nowadays but if we can actually fuse Pokemon, I'd get it - I kind of doubt that's gonna happen, though.

I looked on NintendoLife and they seem to be saying the two Pokeyman featured have new Formes, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Yeah. They seem to be different formes and which one you get depends on what game you get.
but that's kind of a give in.

I hope it runs a different storyline than the original. Regardless i'll still buy it.

I'm just wondering if it's a legitimate "sequel" rather than just a spinoff (like Platinum was for Diamond and Pearl) since it's called Pokémon Black/White 2. Honestly, I doubt it, so I'm wondering more on how they're changing the storyline to accommodate Kyurem (and how the hell they plan on fusing it with the version mascots).

But in all, I'm pretty excited. I spazzed when I saw the news on my tumblr. I'm such a huge Pokénerd. sweatdrop

I'm excited about the possiblity of fusing new pokemon and a continuation of the plot. However, what I don't understand is why they're releasing it in 2D for the DS, rather then in 3D for the 3DS. Why are they making this new game for an obsolete console?

That means that the amount of sprites needed is 649 squared

And that is 421,201 sprites

My emotions were everywhere when this was announced. At the time I ended up confused between love and hate.

Now I'm okay with it, and time will tell what will come from this. I wish we got more info about it other than pictures of the new forms, the name and the Japanese release date. emotion_8c

I'm still wondering why it's only on DS though. My best guess is that they're rounding off this generation on one handheld before going onto the next.
