What do you listen to while gaming?

As much as I like listening to music while playing a game, sometimes I avoid it in games where I need to listen for distinct sounds (curse you dead ringer spies).

But anyways, what do you like to listen to while gaming?
inb4 Valve game music.

One time I plugged in the sound cable of my PS2 and the picture cable of my GameCube in at the same time so I could listen to Final Fantasy music while playing Smash Bros.

I remember using some custom firmware stuff on my old Wii so I could put my own music files in Smash Bros Brawl.
