When we met, we were young You smiled I smiled We smiled We swam lakes We sang songs We kicked rocks We climbed trees We fell You laughed at those scratches I cried because it hurt You told me it was okay Because when I bleed, I'm alive
I cried You didn't You couldn't You were already gone I screamed You didn't I begged You were cold I stand on ground You never will I whisper goodbye You never heard it
I bleed I'm alive It's a memory I hold Of how bleeding is life But you won't bleed Not anymore I cried And bled When will the blood stop I still bleed My wrists, my legs, my arms, my skin It's still bleeds
I smiled once I'll smile again We smiled once Joey, we'll meet again
