i played this at nycc last year and it was sssooooooooooo good

my only wish is that they kept sprite art and animation as their medium so that way a friend of mine could have still had a job with the team ))))))):

Very interesting game, although it definitely is for a niche market... In fact this game feels like a combination of niches.

Fighting. Slutty. Steampunk/Pseudo Victorian/Bioshock. Dark.

I like that they've spent time focusing on not only the fighter game community, but they've been creating ways for players who don't often touch fighting games with the "practice anytime" option, and the guard gauge. Kudos to them for creating "lighting" on a 2D character, hope they'll implement levels that plays with this feature (lighting that shines from beneath the stage, lighting that flashes in the background, spotlights from the fourth wall).

I'm not one for fighting games, but still, very interesting how they've constructed this game. It's obvious how much time and thinking was put in, and for that I hope it does well.

I was plotting an intelligent, well-formulated comment but then I got distracted by boobs. I'm pretty sure they're filled with helium because they bounce upwards at the slightest movement like they're trying to escape. Fly away, little gigantic boobs, fly away.

I really loved how fluid the animation was, they had it set up on a 360 at their booth.
