Name: Tercel (A falconry term for a male hawk or falcon) Ornith (Greek "Ornithos" which means bird. Part of the word-origin for ornithology.)

Blood colour: #320093 Blueblood. More towards the purple end. I'd describe it as deep indigo.

Gender: Male

Symbol: User Image

Personality: Despite his meek looks, Tercel has a rather strong personality type. He is assertive and quick witted when he has something to say, and rather fond of telling stories or making small talk. He is amiable because he believes a friend means an ally, in opposition to the troll teachings that friendship is a disease. He is fiercely loyal and perhaps a bit naively trusting. When it comes down to it, Tercel is highly likely to risk his own neck to help his companions. Due to this thinking, Tercel is almost incapable of fathoming betrayal from anyone he considers a friend. He does, however, draw a strict line between a normal friend and someone he considers to fill a quadrant. After knowing a troll for a while Tercel tends to label them as one or the other and changing this opinion is a trying process. This, too, is one of the faces of his being oblivious to things his compatriots feel. He can be sort of annoying with all the talking, too.
Having done a bit of traveling, Tercel is rather firm in his affection for his desert hometown. He favors the slightly dulled down big-city life and how productive it is to keep allies in this sort of environment. One of the sort of biomes that he feels fosters a very productive more communal lifestyle, given its perilous nature and the confines of the canyon.
Despite his friendly nature, he does not consider his untroll-like friendliness either strange or questionable, and tends to blow off others who question or ask why. He will, however, drop everything in favor of obeying a highblood troll and feels he himself merits a measure of respect for his blood color. Tercel does, indeed, support the caste system. His opinion on it is that it provides an obvious leader to follow, gives the civilization structure, and allows each troll to know their place when it comes to making decisions. He both agrees and disagrees with their methods, however. This majorly lies on the way highbloods act towards lowbloods. He feels their outright cruelty does help to keep them in their place, but it also affects morale and sabotages obedience out of respect in juxtaposition to obedience out of fear. The latter of which he believes to be a flimsy, ineffective way of leading.

Strengths:
Speed. A fan of his daggers, Tercel is quick and fastfooted. His agility helps to counteract his relative lack of sheer power, and aids him in hunting in his scarce desert home. Also learned for dodging Griffmom.
Intelligence. Definitively clever and keen, Tercel is immensely book-smart and quick to learn. He garners new information with little effort and tends to retain it very well.
Stealth. Tercel is proficient at ducking about and sneaking up on trolls or prey (sometimes both). He has a bit of a passion of eavesdropping because of this, and tends to enter a conversation knowing at least some of what was said before he officially 'arrived'. Again, to avoid Griffmom when she pops up.

Flaws:
Talkative. Being kind of chipper like he is, Tercel has a problem with shutting up once you get him going on a topic he's well versed or opinionated in. This tends to irk some of his less socially inclined fellows.
Empathy. He has none of it. Its hard for him to notice smaller facets of attitude or subtle tones to someone's conversation, so he tends to be very shallow and blunt, not reading between the lines as well as he ought to.
Strength. Tercel isn't a very heavy hitter. He can't manage powerful killing blows, is pretty much useless in a battle of strength, and pretty much has to use his speed to compensate for this. In a fist fight, he is careful to land many well placed hits, and quickly, elsewise he'll be easily bested.

Weapon: 2x Daggerkind. Tercel wields twin curved daggers in the fashion of pakal, or icepick style where the blade faces downward.

Appearance: (See Right) Tercel is of average height but has a rather lanky build. He's sharp boned and lean, but not gangly. He likes to keep his hair well kept. Its neatly cut, and the majority of his bangs are tied in a pony tail on the left side of his face. His horns point backwards at about a 50 degree angle from his head, and the bottom set curl around behind his ears and curve out again at the back of his head. One neat feature he has is oddly long ears, which always stick out from beneath his hair. Insofar as apparel he dons a bit of a loose sleeveless shirt under an equally baggy cowel that bears his symbol. Pants wise, he wears somewhat fitted jeans tucked into a pair of plain black boots.

Home: Tercel has located his hive in the bustling bosom of Chittentown.

Lusus: Tercel's Lusus is a hypogriff. Tercel doesn't have a special nickname of any kind for his custodian, but will occasionally call her Griffmom if its necessary to refer to her by name. Despite this, Tercel and his Lusus have a rather good relationship, in that his mom only comes home once in a while to try and push Tercel out of various windows and off cliffs. This is a tradition since he grew past grub state, as that was the point Griffmom decided Tercel needed to learn how to fly.
Sometimes Griffmom will give Tercel rides out of pity. Namely the few times he wasn't fast enough to avoid being tossed off some manner of precipice.

Power: Lolderp

first off, he'd be classified as a purpleblood, not blue x)

second, his friendlyness. while you mention that he doesn't find it to be strange, i'm curious how he's able to maintain it and not find it odd when the majority of the population views it as some kind of personality flaw. how has he been able to keep his 'naive' ideas of friendship and somehow not realize he's strange for thinking it? i would understand if he was secluded, but you mention that he's travelled a lot, and it's even stranger that he's managed to still deny that his views on having friends is in any way abnormal.

third for strengths, i think his loyalty might make a good strength, as two out of the three are physical and we're leaning for people's trolls to have more personality based virtues than physical. i'd see if you can combine speed and stealth into one trait. perhaps 'light footed'? or something else to describe that he's good with his feet. sure-footed, agile, etc.

fourth for flaws, his lack of empathy flaw needs to be tweaked. i'm confused how he can have this and also be friendly and loyal, since people with no empathy in reality tend to be psychopaths. rofl
no empathy means you are unable to emotionally relate to someone else, and reading it, the flaw seems to be closer to insensitive, oblivious or inattentive.
