Personality: Imryn is one to stick to her comfort zones, having learned that straying outside of them to make an attempt to be friendly with someone she might not have otherwise is a bad thing. After having cultivated a friendship with a reaper, and than finding out that she had been used for what she was and tossed aside cruelly when someone better came along, it felt her feeling broken and used. Despite that however, it hasn't seemed to effect her desire to make new friends with species she feels comfortable with, mainly other ghosts and undead. Coming off as overly clingy at times, depending on who it might be and if they seem to respond to her attempts at conversation. If they just don't seem that into her, she won't press the issue, not wanting to get attached to someone who won't be around.
Though because of her history she has issues trusting others, and tends to be a bit creeperish about them if she feels they might not want to be friends anymore, even if nothing they have said or done indicates such a thing. Taking to hiding in darker corners, creeper spying on them as they go about whatever it is they do during the day, it has become a bit of a hobby for her. Not a healthy one, but until the trust issues are resolved somewhat, it is one of the ways she uses to keep herself from panicing that everyone is using her again. If it seems they are in danger however or are feeling uneasy in a situation, she will leave the hiding spot and come to their defense. Cold stares and general growliness coming from behind said friend would happen at first, then moving on to more verbal and possibly physical actions if she felt they weren't getting the idea.
The fact that Imryn doesn't have legs is something of a sore spot with her at the moment. Never fond of flying to begin with, the lack of legs and the need to fly to go anywhere are constant reminders of why she is in this situation to begin with. Compounded with the fact that it effects her natural form as well, she tends to shy away from people when in that form, which leads to her sleeping inside a decent sized closet with a bedding area made up in the bottom. This way she can sleep comfortably with doors closed, and if anyone walks in it gives her time to slip the pin back on before coming out.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? After a betrayal by someone Imryn was close to, she had given up caring about much of anything. Spending more and more time alone in, letting herself go to the point where she even lost part of herself. Distressed at what was happening, and knowing it could be reversable with training, Imryn was signed up and shipped off to AA. Her parents hope is for her to get out there, meet new people and heal, while Imryn is still unsure what she personally hopes for from this move. At least for now it will give her something else to focus her energy on.
