So I'm 14, turning 15 June of next year. I am in high school and I know most relationships don't last but I do have my crushes.... I haven't ever had a boyfriend, either cause I'm too shy, or I just don't like anyone. This time I do like someone, and I think he might like me back, but I don't know if Im just misreading it...
Why I think he likes me:
He takes time to sit and talk with me during our class together, when there are other people, (3 girls and 5 guys) also in our class, who he rarely talks to.
When I was sad the other day he came over and tried to help, but when when of the other girls was sad he didn't say anything.
He doesn't seem to mind my weirdness, and is actually kinda weird himself.
Why I like him:
He's nice, he doesn't have a problem with my strange comments- and often has his own strange comments to add, we agree on things most people don't- like books and view on things, and I can trust him.
Main confusing part-
His name is michael. So he showed me the urban dictionary of his name 3 days ago.
A very cool guy who makes everyone laugh. Once you meet him, you will want to be his friend right away. He is super cute and very good-looking. He has amazing taste...in music, clothes, food, everything. Every girl secretly wishes that he could be her boyfriend...mainly because he recently broke up with his girlfriend...mainly because everyone knows that he likes commitment...mainly because he is sweet and knows how to treat a girl...mainly because however strange and wierd he may be, he's perfect. In his own little way, he is perfect.
Without thinking I said I agree. Then he asked "With all of it?" But the way he said it sounded like he was hoping I said yes, but in my worriedness I lied and said, "Well I mean the middle part is questionable..." And laughed it off... And maybe i imagined it, but i thought i saw disappointment for a moment...
I dunno if I even explained that right so if you have any questions, post them...

Am I just over thinking this? I can't just ask him if he likes me, even if thats what I should do, because I'm not outgoing enough, but I feel like there is a possibility we could work out... Maybe not forever, but probably for a while.... is it worth it to try?

♭♮♯ Sleeping wonder lies to me, and the lies are sweet. Alright, outgoing or not, you should just sit down at your desk and write out all the things you like about this boy. The entire time, think: This is just to establish what I know. When that's done, fold it up and write his name across the top. Tell yourself: I'm just pretending. Then, the next day, keep it in your pocket the whole time. Tell yourself: I won't give it to him. Then, see if you can't convince yourself to do the opposite the next day. Take it with you, and every time you see him think: I'll just hand it over. I'll just hand it over.
It's worth a shot. It sounds like he likes you back, and it's better to try than to always wonder what might have happened. ♩♪♫♬

I''d say go for it the worst he can say is no. biggrin
Sounds like he does like you a lot.
Ask him to hang out with you one on one, but don't do movies, hang out some where were you two can talk, like mini golf or hang at your house.

The things you says he does for you and such sounds so nice. He might have made tht defination.I know it might sound hard to do, but tell him tht u really do like him, whatever happens, is/was supose to be.

So those who helped me, thank you. He actually did like me... but he's bisexual, and ended up dating another guy instead, who he is still unfortunately for me, dating...
