[The Doublethinker]

Tucked away into a small corner of the world, a group of islands lay, largely uninhabited by humans. The world seemed to have forgotten the existance of this archipelago, and for this reason, it remained untainted by the world. There were seven islands in all: two large land masses and several small one. All of these islands are reachable only by airplane or boat.

A single human being inhabit the archipelago: The Doublethinker, along with several douzen silky slimes. Although inhabiting virtually the same niche, Doublethink had taken care to conceal her presence to the all of the silky slimes except for Enlai, a red slime she rescued and adopted as her own. Rising with the sun each morning, Doublethink have taken up the simple pleasure of observing the silky slimes in their nature habitats going about their daily activities.

Although not fully explored, the archipelago, dubbed the Archipelago of Slimes bu Doublethink, was obviously rich in plant life and quite capable of supporting life. Doublethink had roughly mapped the group of islands and carefully recorded for her own reasons the location of each slime and their personality and habits. With Enlai as her helper, Doublethink tries her best to help the slimes when they need it without disturbing them and so far, it's been working well.

In closing, it is no doubt that new slimes and new places will continuously been discovered on the Archipelago of Slimes.

Welcome to The Archipelago of Slimes

Island 1

One of the main land masses in the Archipelago of Slime, this island is usually refered to as the main island. Most of the slimes make their homes here, although they may find themselves travelling to other islands in the event of low tides. The main island is full of lush vegetation and is well irrigated. Some rivers run through it, in addition to numerous streams. This island has more of a tropical environment and the silky slimes on this island have formed into several coexisting tribes.


Island 2

The second largest island in the Archipelago of Slimes. This island, except its shape, is quite similar to the main island and also is home to quite a few silky slimes. The island of truth, as it was named for unknown reasons, has a more humid climate relative to the main island and is home to a variety of other insects, birds, and occasionally mammals as well.


Island 3

This island is a medium sized land mass that takes on the characteristic shape of a fish; hence it is refered to as the Isle of the Fish. The climate here is hot and dry, much like a desert, although there is a river that runs through the island. Because of it's climate, only a handful of slimes inhabit this island.


Island 4

A medium sized island and home to do a great number of slimes. Density wise, this island houses the greatest number of silky slimes in terms of slimes per mile; however, its total number is far below the number of slimes on the main island. This island is mostly full of gentle, rolling hills and wide, open, grass fields. The weather here is moderate, which accounts for its great popularity among the silky slimes.


Island 5

A hook shaped island that is inhabited by a small group of slimes. It has a tropical climate.


Island 6

An extremely enlongated island that is inhabited by a small group of slimes. It has a tropical climate.


Island 7

This island is the smallest of the islands that make up the Archipelago of Slimes. The sole inhabitor of this island is The Doublethinker and her slime Enlai. Although small by size, this island is by far the most well equipped island, complete with a harbor, a small airplane landing stripe, and a small shack that serves as Doublethink and Enlai's home. This island has a tropical climate and naturally produces several kinds of sweet berries: all other produces are shipped onto the small island by discreet planes once a month.

About The Doublethinker

The Doublethinker is an ordinary girl, with no magical abilities what so ever. She is of average height and average weight, but with exceptional intelligence; she is clumsy in her movements and sharp in the mind. Double, as most people call her, is most comfortable in a t-shirt and track pants; she is informal as can be but quite polite most of the time.

Double has black hair and dark brown eyes, giving her an asian appearance. Her exact origins are unknown to most except for a few close friends, although she did begin life in an orphanage as an orphan. As for how she arrived in the tiny Archipelago, your guess is as good as mine. As you may have guessed, Double enjoys the company of nature much more than the company of man and is often found meditating in the forests. She is natually quiet, but may be quite chatting when excited. Although Double believes in helping others, her life philosophy is 'survival of the fittest', or Social Darwinism; hence she general leaves the silky slimes to fend off on their own except in dire situations.

The Doublethinker inhabit the tiny 7th island of the Archipelago of Slimes with her trusted sliky slime, Enlai (you'll hear more about him later). They make quite a nice pair, journeying to all seven islands to research and document the silky slimes in their natural habitats. Enlai acts as the translator, as Double does not want to reveal herself to the silky slimes quite yet.

Doublethink's Equipments

Discovering and documenting new silky slimes on the Archipelago of Slimes is hard work; it is also a part of the everyday life of Double and Enlai. Because of this, they had amassed quite an extensive collecting of tools to aid their work.
