[SEPTEMBER] Open Roleplay

[Kitsusagi Staff]

This is the Kitsusagi Shop Official Open RP Thread.

Every month the staff will create an Open RP Thread for anyone and everyone to participate in. The thread will come with small descriptions of the general location, open for both Kitsusagi and humans to roleplay in. Individuals are allowed to rp as more than one character. At times a specific scenario will also be described, wherein participants will have to work together to solve the situation. The Open RP will close on the final day of each month, and be replaced on the first day of the following month.

For every post that individuals make in the Open RP thread, they will receive 1 point. (Note: One post must equal at least 7 sentences.) These points will be added up once the Month is over, and staff will hold miscellaneous events to award the participants of these Open RPs. n_n


September Location: Mothare
September Scenario: While many kitsu are in attendance at the party, many others remain on their usual and daily routines. Who needs the hassle of a party when you are already entertained by your own adventures? And with summer nearly over, now is the time to frolic in the still green leaves and soft grass. Why, rumor even has it that this is the best time of year to harvest rare and tasty fruits, if you are lucky enough to find them!
So, what is your kitsu up to?

Notsu flited through the foliage grabbing flowers here and there humming to himself, he would check over his shoulder now and again making sure one was watching, he couldn't be caught picking flowers! Even if they did smell nice and were kinds shiny he was a man and men didn't pick flowers! His arms bulged with flowers weighing him down and several fell from his over flowing grip "Shiny shiny, I like shiny" he sings to himself, no one could know of his secret obsession!

He dropped all his flowers eyes growing wide, a small glint caught his eye in the underbrush. Now THERE was a shiny! He dove for it wings tucked in tight his paws wrapped around the cool smooth surface which he pulled to his chest, it was his! His shiny!

Sunlight glinted in a blaze of red across the numerous feathers of the flying kitsu, his grooming habits making him more like a shining beacon in the sky. Soaring high over the lush and secretive jungle lands below, Edwin kept his light eyes sharp for any motions below. As it was, his flight now was more of a dutiful scan than a jolly pastime. And Edwin took his duties seriously, especially when they involved any of his kindred.

Enveloping his wings nearer to his body, the two-toned kitsu swept lower to the ground, just enough for his tail tips and heavy braid to ghost over the tree tops. He wasn't sure what exactly lured him to this part of the terrain, other than that he had searched everywhere else already. Well, everywhere that was nearby to their family den and in reasonable walking distance. He was at least thankful that his missing kin didn't have wings to travel with; that would only make his hunt all the more troublesome.

But even level-headed Edwin had to admit, his advantage of flight was giving him useless results.

And so, when the male spotted a small clearing in between the dense trees, he made a lowering circle in the air to prepare for landing. Perhaps a walk would give him better clues in his search. A scent, a pawprint.....maybe even a passerby kitsu who'd seen his kin?
 

[Ravenous Fiend]

Sato was looking for a nice place to lay day and just laze the day away. He liked having the freedom of coming and going as he pleased. As he looked for a place to 'rest' he deliberated the pros and cons of being in the sun versus being in the shade. Sure he would feel warm in the sun but he was certain that he'd get too warm after a while and he wanted to be as lazy as possible. Contemplating his options, he soon came to the decision of being in the shade; it wasn't like he needed a tan or anything like that and the shade would be nice.

Finding a big tree, he slowly made his way under it's cover and took a seat to look around. Feeling pleased with his decision, he slowly laid down, just taking in the nice weather.

Notsu rubbed the shiny on his fur to really make it shine. He turned it over in his paws his face oddly reflected distorted and warped he always liked that about shinys. He needed more! Clutching the shiny to his chest he flitted through the trees looking for more there had to be more! His eyes darted around searching for more. Shinys liked to be in groups there had to be another shiny around here somewhere and he would find it! Up and down around and around he wove through the trees and brush. He was on a mission and determined to find it.

The sun was being tricky and he found himself chasing sunbeams for awhile dewdrops reflecting light acting as decoys. He had come a long way in his search and found himself at a clearing a kitsu resting in the shade of a tree. He had to be careful not to make noise he didn't want to lose his shiny to another kitsu. He tried very carefully to back up and leave but that only resulted in him flying into a tree and crashed to the ground with a little thud and a few cracks of dried branches. "Ow!" At least he managed to hold onto his shiny.  

[-Shady Mooo-]

"I must insist Frank, that if you do not cease your incessant yammering I will send you to the very depth's of hades with a steak around your neck and a free sign!" Frank gulped and scurried to follow behind his 'charge' at a safe distance. 

Severus didn't need a guardian, by any means. He was more than capable of taking care of himself. So why the two human women decided to make his life miserable was beyond him. He grunted and flicked his tails, enjoying the silence. Well, as much as he 'enjoyed' anything that wasn't potions or family related. 

Family. It brought a pain to his chest. His family was distant now. His love was still away, with her human. Most of his children and descendants were off doing their own thing. He had a handful in his household, which was enough to help him get by. Well, most of them were there, Chaos had taken off into the woods again. The extended absence of his mate hit him hard, those two were a passionate whirlwind of a couple, and often she was the only thing he would fight his lust for. Severus made a note to go into the woods later and check on his son when he was done this. 

And what was this? Hell if he knew. He just had to get out of the house. With the recent perma explosion it was utter chaos around the Shady Grounds. He needed to get out, so he walked. To where? He didn't know or care. Why? To find his sanity. For how long? He didn't really care. 

With some effort, he managed to shut his brain up long enough to take in the scenery around him. It was beautiful, even he couldn't deny that. His ear flicked, there was a commotion ahead, it appeared if some kitsu's had gathered. For what reason, he didn't know. Against his better judgement, he casually approached. Worst case scenario he would run into someone he knew. He doubted it though.
