Hair help?

Hello everyone!
My school starts in 2 days, and I was thinking of getting my haircut. My hair is currently long, about my waist-length. I've usually kept the same hairstyle for a few years and I just cut it short once a year and it grows pretty fast ^^' And since my family and friends have kind of complained that it's getting a bit boring and I should try something new, I decide that I wanted a new style. (Note: I generally dislike short hair ever since my childhood, someone thought I was a boy with my short hair.) I [think I] have a round face, and I was wondering if this style haircut [Link] would fit a round face?
If not, are there any short/medium hairstyles that are rather easy to maintain and if possible, tie back? I'm usually doing something active afterschool and on weekends, so I'd like it if my hair could be tied back in some way. Thanks! ^^ And to those already in school, good luck!

First of all, I love the hairstyle you posted!

I think it will look great with any shaped face.
and I highly recommend getting the side-sweeping bangs for people (like me) with a large forehead.
You just have to remember that when you get bangs you have to style them everymorning. I usually just straighten mine and it takes like 45 seconds.

I also like the hairstyle that Atomic Poppy posted but with that you probably have to curl and straight hair usually has a very hard time staying curled all day...
