Windstorm was raised as like-minded as the rest of her family, believing that "grounded" are beneath her hooves and not worth her notice. Because of this she doesn't know how to deal with Soquili who don't think the same way she does and comes off a bit offensive when expressing her abstract view.
Since it's not often she meets another like-minded Soquili, she quite comfortable in solitude. She is very respectable to the few she has met and is only too happy to show how well-mannered such "prejudice" winds can truly be. And she more than happy to discuss herself if it gets her a few well placed compliments in the process.

Short Summary of their plotline: Windstorm and Wild Wind have left their herd as Wild Wind's first mate is on the hunt for his hide. During their journey, the meet a male wind named Prometheus. Windstorm is instantly taken with him and her father doesn't object since he is a bearer of good Wind genes. However, he is not what he has pretended to be. He is in fact a half-wind, his mother (who he detests above all his family) was a regular Soquili. Unfortunately, Windstorm has gone off with the half-wind to his reclusive home in the mountains. She will eventually catch him in a lie while pregnant and once she gives birth to the foals, she will discover the truth of his diluted blood. She and her father will drop the children off with the Tiabi herd in Atisvgi lvyi.

The Breaking of the Storm - Omani'ceta finally finds Wild Wind and tells him of the return of his first mate. Windstorm catches her father trying to leave and vows to go with him. They leave the herd.
Objective in Sight - The three meet a new wind Soquili named Prometheus. He takes an instant liking to Windstorm and the feelings are mutual.
Infiltration Operation - Windstorm falls ill and Prometheus and Wild Wind journey to get her an apple. The young stallion asks for Wild Wind's permission to court his daughter.
Swallowing the Rabbit - Prometheus and Windstorm have a midnight flight and dalliance. Unable to stop the blossoming love, Wild Wind gives his permission for them to be unofficial official lifemates.
What is their family dynamics? The children will be raised by Wild Wind's rival and his herd. They will have limited contact with either of their blood relations due to the fact that they will have tainted bloodlines.

Traditions: Any and all winged Soquili in the Atisvgi lvyi will place their feathers with the family tree so they can always find their way back home. Also winged Soquili will gift their feathers to their mates as a sign of their devotion.
Herd/Family culture: The Atisvgi lvyi is part of a larger coalition herd. They have taken on the task of scouts and medicine man to help protect themselves and their allies.
The herd also refuses to allow any prejudice to be waved about against others. So instead of the children growing up with the same narrow outlook on their mother's side, they will learn to accept all Soquili of all shapes and sizes, except the foul kalona and skinwalkers. Should prejudice lurk in their hearts, it will be deeply rooted and hidden away from the rest of their members.
Religious Beliefs: The herd has taken on a very mixed belief of one God and the Lakota and Cherokee's Gods.

Short Bio
For much of her life, Eydis felt like a puppet. Marching where ordered to march, defending what she was ordered to defend. If the leader ordered her to jump, the ways she was raised in told her to ask "How high?" She was a soldier, and a soldier obeyed. No matter how silly the order may be. This lifestyle was one she quickly grew tired of and when the opportunity to escape arose, she took it. And she never looked back.
The female warrior found herself in the Kawani lands. It was here that she chose to make her new life. She dreamed of building a mighty herd, one that would be a force to be reckoned with. It would be filled with the finest of warriors, and when she said jump, they would ask her, "How high?" But before she could do anything, she needed to get to know these new land.
That's where Nykto came in. Stallion was a wealth of knowledge and made for an excellent guide. Night after night, they would meet at a set location and Nykto would guide Eydis through which ever area desired. Idle chatter would take place, and Eydis found herself enjoying the company of the capable stallion.
Strong, intelligent, loyal, and a night wandered like herself. In other words, the perfect mate.

Short Bio
He's evil! No not really, but he can be very evil and cruel and vicious. When meeting someone new, he's either cold and uncaring, rude and violent, or friendly/flirtatious. The latter is usually faking for his own amusement. He can sometimes be very calm, collected and seem pretty normal tempered. He's only violent when he's angry for any reason, even if he's not angry at the one he's being violent towards.
Despite his sometimes unapproachable personality, he hates being alone. He enjoys the company of others even if he doesn't act like it. He's also extremely and violently possessive and protective of what he cares about, be it another Soquili, his views and opinions, or even an item.
He loves to fight, but he won't pick on weaker or helpless beings. He might make a good enemy if that's what you're looking for. He won't usually rely on violence, but if another seems up for it, he would be glad to oblige.
He has a soft spot for anything cute and cuddly, especially furry little animals or foals. He'd never intentionally harm a foal, though he might be rough with them.

Short Summary of their plotline:
Eydis and Nykto's relationship started off as something of pure business. He was meant to be a guide and nothing more. But the two meshed together so well that something else could not help but grow. Eydis was calm, cool, and accepting of Nykto, and Nykto not only a strong and capable stallion, but he showed Eydis the respect she unknowingly craved.
The two have accepted each other as mates and hope to one day build a powerful herd together. Right now they are wandering and seeking an appropriate section of land to call their own.

Both parents will be sharing the duties amongst each other. Raising their children to be strong and worthy of respect. True warriors of the night. Hardly the type to coddle their children, and Eydis certainly isn't the type of mare that would constantly coo at the foals or hover over them 24/7.

Religious Beliefs:
Nykto's beliefs are not usually voiced. While he does believe there is a higher power that represents good, he only truly acknowledges the evil in the world. One belief that he has no problem voicing is his belief in fate and his opposition to the idea of luck. Though he'd like to believe in luck, and he's more open to it now that something good has happened in his life he still knows that there are those that have a certain fate, and cannot stop that fate from happening no matter how hard they try.
As for Eydis, religion was never a part of her world. She was born to serve, to grow strong.

If a Boy: A knight in dark armor. He will be dawn to the darker thing in life such as death and monsters that go bump in the night. But this fascination will never extend beyond curiosity. He will also be a gentleman with an over protective streak.
If a Girl: A silent rose. Her words will be rare and far between. Due to her gender, she would strive to be a powerful mare like her mother. Forcefully shoving anyways any assistance offered by males.

If a Boy: Nykto will want his son to be strong. No son of his could ever be a weakling. Having grown up with such a strict, demanding father, the boy will either be broken and blindly obey anything he is told, or learn to hate his father and try to turn the rest of the family/herd against Nykto.
If a Girl: Nykto wouldn't be so strict with his daughter. Though he'd want her to be able to take care of herself, he'd also be more likely to spoil her. He'd also be very protective. Having such an overprotective father, the girl might rebel at some point and do things just to worry him.

Short Bio To smart for her own good. The world is full of information and Cortana seeks to know it all. She is also not afraid to make sure everyone else's information is correct; so she can be annoyingly corrective sometimes. She loves to learn new things, though is hard to change her mind about things. She also lives to experience things, much like her daughter. Thus is why she came to have children with her friend Illidan, who sired her son and daughter. But her heart remains in one place, and that is with Chief. Short Bio Master Chief (aka Chief) lives and breathes war. Ever since he was a young foal he has been trained for fighting therefore it's the only thing he is good at. A colorful history of fighting and battles won isn't the only thing he's packing; the Chief is outfitted with state-of-the-art armor that protects every inch of him.
Because of his devotion to war, this stud has no experience socially. Until, that is, Cortana came along. Her wit and her sarcasm is the fuel to his entertainment and not a day goes by that he doesn't coax her into the playful banter that he loves so much. Short Bio Ni'awtu came from a herd of Winds who believed them better than the other Soq. 'Specially the Kirin who lived nearby. It is unknown the relationship of her parents, but a small war over the crossbred sisters broke out shortly before Ni'awtu left on her own. The Kirin wanted rights to the kids. The Wind didn't want to give it. Many died, including a Kirin stallion Ni'awtu was going to mate. He gave her the bell shortly before his death.
Lost and lonely, Ni'awtu has no idea where to go. She wanders out of simply not knowing what else to do. Broken and feeling defeated, she is timid, but not enough to put her at risk to be taken advantage of by others. Intelligent eyes hide beneath the long forelock. At the moment, she has a rather pessimistic view of the world. Believing she'll never find love, again. Eventually, she'll grow out of it. In her normal state of mind, Ni'awtu is kind, soft spoken, feisty, and very loyal.

Short Bio Scryer can seem like an uncaring jerk to most, though deep down there is that soft nougaty center. That part rarely surfaces in the presence of other stallions. Mares usually get to see the softer side as he sometimes just can't say no to the ladies. This gets him into trouble sometimes as he loves the ladies, just not willing to make any sort of commitment. This much was revealed when he meet his first love, Meeka, and found it impossible to stay in one place too long. He left as soon as his foals had grown to near adulthood.
Since he was little his wanderlust has never stopped growing. Scryer can never be found in the same place for too long. Even when his foal were born he had to at least wonder the mountains for a while before returning to take care of his young. Thankfully Meeka proved to be a more worthy parent.
Currently he still wonders, now alone, in search of nothing really but to keep moving.

Short Summary of their plotline: The two met when Ni'awtu stumbleb upon Scryer visiting with his son. Scryer being, well...Himself, beckoned her closer and she obeyed, being lost and lonely at the time. Seeker wasn't too thrilled with having her nearby, believing her an evil Kalona who was going to steal his soul through her bell, but Scryer had other plans. Sometime after the meeting, he plants the idea of flinging in her head. Like a seed left in the soil to grow, she came to the conclusion she had nothing to lose by agreeing to his proposal. Normally a very loyal mare to wait for the one she loved and feeling herself very unattractive to the opposite sex, she doesn't see the harm in it. Not like she'll find another to love aside from her old beloved.
With Scryer, I see a sort of friendship growing. So he'll always be in and out of her life, I'm sure. Never as he was in the beginning, as she should have a mate by than. They have one thing in common:Getting entertainment at the expense of Seeker's wide imagination and fears.

Link to RP(s) where something happens of importance: Brilliance. Their meeting. Only RP and still going on. Either at the end of this one or in another, Scryer will plant the 'idea' in her head and leave her think about it. Casual 'meetings' were far from her mind, being an extremely conserved and loyal mare. So this has a huge affect on her life, considering she comes out of it with kids.
What is their family dynamics? Both parents will raise the foals together. Scryer will stay around until they are adults. He has a wanderlust and finds it difficult to stay in one place for too long, but he makes a point to visit with his family and the foals he creates when he can. So he won't be totally out of Ni'awtu's life once she gets pregnant, like some other flings would be.
As for how...I can't speak for Scryer, but Ni'awtu has a very lady-like demeanor. She'd be teaching them manners and proper behavior. Once she gets over the fact she had them in the first place to a stallion she doesn't even love. At least in the romantic sense.
I also have a potential lifemate for Ni'awtu in mind, who will likely be around the foals and giving Scryer little pieces of his mind.

Seeker | Scryer's son. I doubt he will be around a whole lot, but I do plan on torturing him with a half Kirin sibling following him around. That's the only plan I have for a foal.
Additional info: To be honest, the plot is still in the early stages and I'm a very "Go with the flow" type of person, so I can't give very detailed explanations of everything. I can't say if things will change or not as we dwell deeper into this. Ni'awtu's background is still mostly a mystery to me.
Scryer's info is a little shorter because I wrote this without the aid of Sniper. She's been way too busy. Hence it's so Ni'awtu based.

Short Bio Despite her twisted view on the world, Kath is loyal and kind to a fault. She was rescued from her trapped slavery in a traveling carnival by Apoc.

Short Bio
Apocalypse split from his family as a young adult and grew up largely alone. The two or three horses (before his lifemate) who got too close were eventually slapped in the face with his personality. While he's talkative and comes off as charming at first, a little bit of time reveals a cold heart and a practiced liar. He takes pleasure in ruining someone's day and would even go out of his way to do it if it provided decent entertainment. The joker that takes his jokes a little too far by normal standards, he has a great sense of humor unless the joke turns out to be on him. Cross him, and Apocalypse wouldn't think twice about throwing a kick in the face. The idea of a 'society' with 'rules' is beyond him and he has no idea why anyone would care enough to listen. His greatest weakness is probably his curiosity. It's possible to placate him somewhat with something interesting, at least until he realizes he's being led. If you're not interesting, however, he definitely doesn't have the time of day for you. As far as the world around him, he considers two leggers and their captured horses ignorant and enjoys nothing more than swiping things right out from under their noses. Be it a pretty trinket or a bite to eat, Apocalypse has raided his fair share of camps and only almost been caught once or twice. Not a very pleasant stallion.

Short Summary of their plotline: During a raid on a group of humans, who turned out to be a band of gypsies, Apocalypse came across a mare tied to a stake in the ground. Originally he ignored her, going about his business of eating up a basket of fruits before he was noticed. However, this was one of the few times he was almost caught. As the gypsies ran after him, he took off, coming across the mare again. As payback for ruining his snack and thinking that all captured horses were prizes to humans, he quickly bit through the rope binding her and ushered her out of the clearing and through the trees until he was sure they were no longer being followed. Losing a captured horse would serve those two leggers right. Shortly afterward, he left her behind and went on his way.
The next night, she caught up with him, now viewing him as a savior and with no where else to go, she could think of nothing else to do. She followed him for the next day or so until he finally began to acknowledge her. It was interesting to him how easily she followed orders and after a little bit of experimentation, he realized there was nothing he couldn't ask her to do. It was amusing, at least up until the point he began to grow agitated with her constant voicelessness. Leaving her behind again with a lie, he debated on what to do until he decided he would give her a name himself, since she refused to tell him what her real name was.
Once they were together again, he finally paid her enough attention to realize that she wasn't quiet because she wanted to be, but because she couldn't speak. He named her 'Kathreftis,' a name befitting her dark appearance, he thought. It was also around that time that her fear of humans was revealed, something he decided to use to his advantage against the useless two leggers.
Apocalypse began to train her to fend for herself and even kill, molding her for his entertainment. Kath begins to lose herself in this new sport, but her master always pulls back on the emotional reins enough to keep her from going over the edge. In their time together, he grew a soft spot for her, an unusual thing for him. While she cares for him above and beyond, he has begun to care for her, as well.

Mother: She used to be a carnival performer in a human gypsy caravan. The gypsies that were her captors thought her cursed, but used her anyway. Their fear turned to hatred and cruelty. They would tie to by her neck to a post in the ground and keep her food and water just out of reach. Soon, they stopped removing the rope from her neck and it started to cut into her as she would struggle for the nourishment. The rope cut through her vocal chords and left her for mute.
Father: Nothing official, but Apocalypse takes pride in being an accomplished thief. When average food is not enough to entertain him, he often steals his meals from human settlements.

What is their family dynamics? They will all be raised together as a functioning unit. Although Kath may hardly be a good mother, she will raise them well because she wants to give her master the strong offspring she feels he deserves. Apocalypse will expect his children to be able to keep up with them on their travels and would leave them behind as easily as he would leave their mother if they moved to slowly (with the understanding that they should be able to catch up later). The kids would also be taught how to steal and outsmart, joining their parents on human settlement raids. Once they're grown, it is their choice to stay or go, but they would need to be able to fend for themselves even if they stayed. Apocalypse does not see himself or his mate as adult babysitters and would have little patience for such foolishness.
Traditions: Two leggers are completely untrusted and often seen as moronic. They are often taken advantage of, stolen from, or even hurt and killed. This is something the foals will be brought up with. The vengeance against two leggers and the cold heart and mind to seek them out for such acts.
Herd/Family culture: There is no specific culture, these two have strayed far. Kath cannot even remember her own parents, while Apocalypse hasn't seen his parents in years and cares little for the family.
Religious Beliefs: There is nothing but survival and a twisted sense of companionship and loyalty.

If a Boy: He would be born more of a joker than a bad guy, but with the influence of his parents would lose any sense of restraint. At some point I'd like him to almost injure (or actually injure) someone as part of a prank and either get worse because he realizes it doesn't hurt him to hurt others OR end up hurt by the victim or someone related to the victim somehow.

Short Bio
Bio for Trinity: Trinity has always been very nice and excitable. She's not one to like to be alone for too long. She discovered her sexuality as she got older and in a moment of panic to make her self "normal" she had some "fun" with a stallion. Although she walked away still liking females she also had three foals, one was left with the father, though she loves him no less. She found her lovemate in Nukpana and is now happily in love with her and proud of her children.

Nori is in love with seaweed, the sea, and just about anything in it. He enjoys wandering the beach and collecting shells, however, he is VERY accident prone and tends to get himself into quite a bit of trouble. This little trickster loves to leave wet and slimy seaweed anywhere his brother may end up finding it and also enjoys playing other pranks. Sadly, he tends to get himself into more trouble then anyone else.
Nori is madly in love with his lovemate Gunkan. He found the stallion on the beach and has attached himself to him ever since.

Short Summary of their plotline: The breeding between Trinity and Nori is a mutual one, not out of love but out of a want for children. Neither pair can have them without assistance and so they have come to an arrangement to help each other. Trinity will also be paired with Gunkan at a later date.

As the plot develops and the families grow I suspect that they will all consider each other to be a 'herd' of sorts and be close to each other.

Short Bio
Vesper is very pixie-like. She has a childlike innocence and whimsical effervescence about her than can be both enchanting and disturbing at times. She loves flowers, and tends to refer to them as though they are people, with emotions and personalities. She can often be found out in the garden carrying on animated discussions with the flowers around her while Erynion takes care of their more basic needs. Vesper tends to the flower's 'emotional' wellbeing while Erynion handles most of the physical aspect of their care. Vesper is incredibly trusting and a little naive, she doesn't really comprehend danger or evil. She had always led a very sheltered existence.
Erynion is the center of Vesper's entire world, she is completely devoted to him and fell madly in love with him at first sight, theirs is truly a fairy tale romance. She often jokes that she is part flower, hence the 'petals' that grow at the base of her wings.

Short Bio
Erynion is a child at heart – he’s always got his head in the clouds (or in the flowers, if he’s in his garden) and finds enjoyment in the simplest of things. He’s kind hearted and naive, always wanting to believe that everyone has good in them. Erynion loves flowers more than anything (except his lovely mate, of course) and he’s planted a HUGE garden in his home filled with some of the most beautiful flowers you’ve ever seen.
When he was growing up, Erynion thought he was a butterfly. He was pretty confused. He was obsessed with butterflies and travelled all around in search for new ones – that’s how he found Vesper. He was looking for butterflies and seeds for his garden when he spotted her. He thought she was (is) the most beautiful butterfly he’s ever seen and instantly fell in love with her.
Now Erynion’s main focus is his family – although it only consists of Vesper and he. He wants nothing more than children with her so they can spend their lives happily together forever.

If a Boy: I have an idea that I developed when entering an RP prompt. I loved it so much and I think it will fit amazingly with the family considering the love of flowers they share.
I would like the boy to find a singing flower and bring it home to his mother and father to share with them the music. He’ll look after the flower until he gets older and the flower starts to wilt. He’ll seek help to try and save the flower for he’s fallen in love with the voice and a witch will tell him that the voice has an owner who has been cursed and will die unless he returns her voice to her. But he has no idea who she is or where she is etc’.etc’. MAGICAL ADVENTUREEEE.
If a Girl: I feel like she’ll have a beauty and the beast kind of deal. An ‘evil’ soquili will fall in love with her from afar and the flowers she grows and will somehow capture her and make her fall in love with him. Barraccus is sublime madness, magnificent rage, and divine indifference; viscous, predatory, and cunning, he is the embodiment of darkness and an extremely dangerous purewalker to cross paths with. Raised by his mother far from Kawani in a desolate wasteland, occupied mostly by other purewalkers, he places great value in the purity of his blood and although this sentiment was not addressed in the prompt, he has developed an extreme and violent hatred towards cursed skinwalkers whom he views as impure frauds.
His mother was always critical of his accomplishments; awarding him only with jeering insults and contempt for anything he tried to do to please her. He was kept isolated, and often mercilessly beaten. As a young foal he fled inward. When he reached his teen years he killed his mother in a fit of rage, although he is still convinced that even death is an inadequate barrier for someone as evil and malignant as she, he is sure she stalks his every move through the eyes of those around him, thus he often keeps to himself and prefers to prey on mares and fillies as a way of lashing out at his mother, even in her death. His father was never a part of his life although he seems to know a few things about him. It is still unclear whether he ever knew him or if they are just tidbits gleaned from his mother during his upbringing.

Short Bio
The second eldest daughter of a knight and a rather compassionate mare, Edana quickly formed into a strange conglomerate of knightly honor and kleptomania that has shaped her profession in life. A thief to the core, she is fond of treasures large and small, from the most seemingly worthless of babbles to the riches of the legends her parents spun for her as a foal. Of course, she's also quick to consider family and friends as part of her "collection," as protective and tender to them as she is to her various objects. Not that she doesn't joke, "I only love you for your shinnies," now and then - particuarlly to Samual - she won't hesitate to prove even her crooked heart is capable of true love should any doubt her.
Cocky, outgoing, and always itching for a wrestling match in the muck, she's the perfect face of a lowly street rat. And she loves it. Even as she grew older and learned the dangers of her chosen profession, even as new siblings came into the world she felt bound to protect, her roudy ways never ceased. Nor has her desire to test the boundaries of the world around her. She might not be keen to lose her life any time soon, but that doesn't cure her of her reckless behavior in search of fun and adventure. She just makes sure to keep her ferret companion, Kione and Samual with her on the majority of her trips. On the off chance she needs help, of course - which happens more than she'll ever admit.

Samual was born into a family that worked for a King of a distant land. His family was closely connected to the royal family, they'd be their protectors for ages. So, Samual had to step up to high expectations. He was expected to know how to fight and protect, and have a wonderful mind. No one was surprised when Samual excelled in his field.
But he always resented having to work for the Royal family. He was bossed around by them and his parents. It drove him crazy, when he was young he hung on their every word, but after a while he began to realize his family was like a toy to the Royals, and his parents were blind to it.
He played along for years, rising to the title of Lieutenant in their forces. Then, when war began, he abandoned his Kingdom. He used to chaos to make his escape, and he never once turned around to learn what had become of them. He knew if they survived he'd be whispered about as the betrayer. But he didn't care.
He has a life of his own now, and he couldn't be happier about it.

Short Summary of their plotline:
Still being Rped, but as it is majority backplotted at this point, this is the gist of their story. It is also Edana-heavy since... I have a difficult time writing from the perspective of characters that aren't mine >>;; Sorry!
A bit of strange luck was at play when the two first met. Edana had been on a daily run when she'd stumbled upon Samual being approached by the (at the time) local demon, Beelzebub. Due to a pact with a friend of Edana's family, the large stallion left the two alone, allowing them the chance to converse. Albeit somewhat crudely on Ed's part. Samual informed her of his goal, to meet with a medicine woman in the mountains to aid a newly blinded young stallion heal. Curious about what the "hag" could do, and thrilled for a new adventure, Edana joined him. They eventually were able to locate Guedes, and retrieve medicine to aid Danae's healing eyes, though not even she could return to him his lost sight.
It wasn't until a spell later that Edana learned the "idiot" involved with the Kalona attack was, in fact, her younger brother, Calibor. The younger thief had gotten himself a bit over his head, and though Ed was less than pleased he'd been caught - and almost killed - she was grateful for his safety and the resulting meeting with Samual.
A few months after the happy conclusion, the two remained within each other's company, though Edana found herself growing restless. A similar feeling to one she tend to feel in while in the throws of a bloody fight, she simply assumed she was itching for a fight again. With a grin and a cocky air, she went to Samual to spar with her - both could surely use the exercise, after all. A time of playful banter and strikes was quickly spoiled, however, by the arrival of Beelzebub... and his still rather young son, Typhoid. The sparring session turned into a fight against the grotesque stallion, and when Samual received a small gash, Edana felt the restlessness kick in once again. This time, however, she felt oddly drawn to the blood, and as he watched the confused mare, Beelzebub laughed. He was aware of her father's condition, of his status as an age old knight cursed to wander the lands for eternity - drawn to blood, hesitant to sunlight, and unchanging. Though the curse was weak in Edana, some of the negative effects lingered. With this fact brought to light, the demon and his spawn left, amused and curious how things would progress. Samual accompanied Edana as she fled to confront her father, bringing an old secret to light within the family. She's formed a slight distrust for others, and is wary of her own actions when dealing with fights, but as Samual did not turn from her upon learning the news, she's been trying to move on and find peace with her new life long companion.

Who Said I Needed Help?
xxxxxAfter Edana "chased away" Beelzebub from his would-be target, Samual, the two shared a few... pleasant words, in which the mare learned of his intent to find a medicine woman in the mountains. Upon hearing the story of his friend's son losing his sight after protecting some idiot from a Kalona attack, Edana decided to accompany the Lieutenant on his quest, curious to see what some old mountain hag could do for the poor guy.
What is their family dynamics? Edana and Samual will raise the children together, close to the cave and clearing her parents reside in. Edana might take a leave now and then to hunt down a new treasure, though while they are foals she will do her best to remain home. Due to the close proximity, Callan and Bella would have a very prominent role in the foals' lives, as both loving family and teachers. Edana's siblings will have similar roles, should they drop by to visit.
Traditions: Even with a thief for a mother, the family's knightly honor and heritage comes in loud and clear. As Edana and her siblings were raised, almost the moment the foals can walk, they're taught the bare basics of combat. Survival skills - like herbs that aid in healing cuts and bruises, how to quickly arrange shelter, etc. - self-discipline, and knowledge of the cultures of the surrounding area are also considered highly important for the road ahead. Upon reaching adulthood, and thusly the end of their training, they undergo the Coming of Age Ceremony. Proving their ability to put their training to use, they receive the armor and trinkets as passed to them from their elders. They also receive specially designed weapons, individualized to each personality and tactics in combat. They would be acquired via Custom Item slots.
After the completion of the Ceremony, they would be expected to take a journey of their own, to find their place in the world with their training to aid and guide them. Of course, that's not to say they wouldn't be expected to come home and visit now and then, either.
Herd/Family culture: "Don't be a tool. Help because you want to help, not because you have to." As mentioned above, knightly honor and both physical and mental strength are highly valued. And not just in battle. Honesty -even thieves have a brand all their own, states Edana - loyalty to family and companions, and the refusal to back down from any challenge - that is what Edana and Samual will teach their children above anything else. They are a life-loving family, and though they understand they set their children for potentially hard lives, they love them dearly. Due to the curse upon Callan, Edana often notes a preference for days with less light, if not night - never mind a restlessness when blood flows near her. While she used to attribute it to her chosen profession and adrenaline from a fight, she is now aware of otherwise, and will be teaching her children caution, just in case.

If a Girl: Caelan. Aka. Cael. Much like her mother chose a far more lucrative life, Cael has a preference for moving through the shadows as opposed to frontal assaults on her opponents. If she must battle, that is. Though she dedicates herself to her studies, she makes it quite clear early on she'd rather use bribes and dirt to end up on top in a situation, though if that fails... go for the throat. Due to her preferences, her favorite pass times consist of scouting around for interesting dirt on others, searching for chinks in proverbial - and not so proverbial - armors. She's careful not to cross lines amongst her family, though that doesn't stop her from trying to poke around in their personal business, even if it's without them knowing. If questioned, she'd happily respond the one with the most information knows how to best keep their loved ones safe.
Upon completing her Ceremony, she will receive a slender dagger that would remain hidden behind her front leg until needed in a fight, in which she'd use it as she lashed out with her hooves. She might join her sibling in search of the kingdom their father hails from, if only to see what sort of lore and information is there to learn about that half of her heritage. Never mind trying to locate more information about her grandfather's origins from her mother's side...

If a Boy: Macklyn. Macklyn, aka Mack, is always going to be curious of the stories his father will recall about a once noble, albeit a bit corrupt, Kingdom. He'll often wonder why exactly his father left it behind, aside from the obvious reason's that they were mistreating their Knights. Seriously, who get give up living in such a magnificent Kingdom? And who could stand not to know what happened to it? Macklyn will take all of his training very seriously and excel under his father's guidance.
For his Coming of Age Ceremony, upon his return from his quest, he will receive a sword from his father. One that has been passed down through Samual's family for ages. It belonged to Samual's Grandfather, who also carried the name Macklyn with Pride! Hence, the family name Macklyn. It may seem odd, but Samual is attached to the name. Despite the fact that he has seen people tease his son about it before.
Macklyn, once he has received his Coming of Age gift, will most likely strike out on an adventure of his own. He'll be on the lookout for a Noble family in need of a Knight, a family that won't treat his protection poorly. However, along the way, he will also try to discover exactly what happened to that family his father abandoned.
If a Girl: Alyson. Alyson will get a lot of her mother's sneaky traits, although she will be using them to become more like her father. A Knight in her own right. Most people will not agree with the idea of a female Knight, but her father will share with her countless stories of all the brave female Knights he used to work along side of. This may boost her ego a bit and she can get into scraps with boys when she's younger. However, she'll grow out of it as she's older and learn to deal with the whispers about a female Knight. She'll likely be one of the fastest of the young kids in training. Preferring to fight her battles in a sneaky way and as fast as possible.
Upon her return from her quest, Alyson will be granted a dagger. Fitting her sneaking ways. She will be curious to find other female Knights like the one in her family. And may even seek out her father's old Kingdom, just so she may have the chance to meet one.

Jaci | A "great-uncle" of sorts for the foals, he's been a long-time friend of Callan and Bella's, and Ed often crashed at his place as a foal herself.
Arthur | The first born son of the McSwan family, he still maintains a vigilant watch over his family despite his frequent travels. He will become one of the foals' main trainers when it comes to combat, particularly how to take the hits and self-discipline.

Short Bio Not much, if any, is known about Tori's past, and she has really told no one, though she has told her mate a few snippets here and there. She is quiet, very much so, to the point others think she is mute, but she can talk and when she chooses to do so, it is usually to give some type of advice, though on occasion, she has been known to tease her mate and 'son'. She always seems to be contemplating something and is much wiser then her youthful appearance gives credence.

Short Bio Rayearh believes that his creator, Mokona, recreated him into the Kawani lands and reverted into the form of a Soquili. Rayearth takes on the same ideals of the Rune God, Rayearth from Cephiro where your Will determines everything. He believes his existence is to protect the world from destruction by protecting those who need it, and by fighting those who wish to destroy others.
Rayearth is as fierce as a lion, loyal as a wolf, and has the strength of a warrior. He is not one to trust others easily, and must come to learn the other’s desires and values before trusting them. He cares for those who need to be protected, especially young foals he comes across in his travels and will come to watch over them as if they were his own until he comes across the foal’s caretaker. He keeps to himself mostly, making himself seem standoffish and uncaring.

Short Summary of their plotline:
The sight of Hi no Tori's wings caught Rayearth's attention. This brought on their initial interaction. The stallion was one who would keep to himself, but decided to venture towards Tori to placate his curiosity for wings that can ignite flames. Hi no Tori was more wary of Rayearth since she did not know of him nor his intentions towards her, she stayed because she sensed his honor. Now, all she had to find out was what he would do or say.
The two got acquainted; Rayearth was gentle, but still rough around the edges due to his gruff and serious nature, and Hi no Tori gradually learned to trust him, letting him know about her deepest, darkest secrets. Hearing about the dangers and fears that plagued Hi no Tori, Rayearth felt more drawn to protect her. When he was with her, he would step in front of her making her smaller figure disappear behind him when an unfamiliar males drew closer to her. For the first time in a long time, Tori felt protected and at peace, knowing Rayearth wouldn't let anything happen to her if he could help it. She even started coming out to her contemplative shell a bit, teasing him and joking with him, even find it nice to close to him. Rayearth did not notice his own shift of emotions for Tori, but he became softer, more willing and maybe seeking for affection, and became less serious when he was with her.
The more the Tori and Rayearth spent time together, the more their feelings began to change and grow. Tori could not go back to her usual contemplative mood around him, but instead, she couldn’t stop thinking about Rayearth and only wanted to engage in conversation with him. Rayearth would find himself succumb to feelings he would not usually feel. He would feel spurs of jealousy, possessiveness, and loneliness when it came to Tori, and only confused him further. He thought he only wanted to protect her, but what did these other feelings mean?
It was not until the pair came into possession of a basket, one that had been alone and uncared for that Rayearth took the next step. He offered what a stallion could for a mare and child, and took them into his home to provide and care for them.

Mother: Hi No Tori’s profession is healing through basic medical aid.
Father: Rayearth views himself as a knight. He trains and challenges his body everyday. He helps those in need, especially those searching for protection. If he sees them in immediate danger and one of good nature, he will protect them fiercely until the threat is gone.
Link to RP(s) where something happens of importance: A Gift from Above – Hi no Tori finds a basket and decides to take care of it. She asks Rayearth if he will help her raise the basket as well, and he agrees to it. Rayearth protects Tori and the basket from wolves, and after the ordeal, he offers Tori refuge in his home in a cave on a mountain to care and protect them both. It is the starting point of their relationship together trying to raise a son that is both not their own, but still regarding him as one.
What is their family dynamics? Hi No Tori was under the care of Blissful until she was finally a fully fledged adult and struck out on her own. Now, she is the mate of Rayearth and claimed Arcangelo as her adopted son after finding his basket unattended, feeling as if there was a special. Rayearth agreed to her request to take care of the basket, and took the basket in as his own too. Both of the parents will take care of the foals, seeing to it that they learn what they need to survive. Rayearth will protect them fiercely, and Tori will nurture them.

Luinil is dignified, elegant in manner and always poised and calm. While she takes pleasure in her excellent hunting skills and her ability to help support the harpy Flock, she does not enjoy killing itself and is only aggressive if she or a member of the Flock is being threatened. She absolutely adores music and dancing. While she believes that males are nothing more than pets, she has always treated her own pets with kind indulgence as long as they were respectful to her and her sisters. Has a weakness for pretty boy stallions.

Aranel has been raised to be chivalrous and honorable like his father and dearly wishes to become a heroic knight some day. He idolizes his father, adores his mother and loves his sister though he does think she can be a pest at times. He is naturally very talkative and often didn't know when to keep quiet, however time within the harpy flock as a trophy male has taught him to be more circumspect. Being a dancer for the flock also made him realize how much he enjoys 'wind dancing' when flutter-sized.

Short Summary of their plotline: Aranel was wandering too close to harpy territory and was attacked by a cougar. Luinil was wounded saving his life and he vowed to serve her as payment for his life debt. During the harpy vs. griffin fight, he saves Luinil and so she releases him from his vow and he escapes. IC she will be unknowingly pregnant with his foals when he leaves the flock.

Aranel I was going to post where he saves Luinil from one of the griffin attacks and she releases him from his vow so he escapes, but the RP was closed before I had a chance. *sigh*
What is their family dynamics? (Who will be raising them and how, do they spend time with their grandparents, what friends of the family will they be raised around etc) PLEASE link to people mentioned here/members who will be spending time with them on a positive note/gifting them, as how they shape up involves them as well.
They will be raised within the flock. As I'm the only owner, the other basket will be most likely be gifted to one of the harpy basket hopefuls with the requirement that the baby be raised in the flock. They will never meet their father though Luinil will let them know that he was a soquili of honor. The flock nannys will raise them with the others, but Luinil will be as involved as possible since these will be her first children.
Traditions: The Flock is a strongly matriarchal society in which the males are kept in a shared harem type situation.

Religious Beliefs: The harpies believe in the spirits and hold various festivals during the year. Their beloved Oracle and occasionally the queen speak directly with the spirits for guidance.

If a Boy: if he has his father's flutter wings, he will be an elegant dancer and artisan, if he has his horn, he'll help the healers, if he has his mother's claws, he'll be an artisan. If he has hooves, he'll be one of the above and an artisan helper. He will be very sweet and kind and artistic.
If a Girl: if she has her father's flutter wings, she'll definitely be a dancer and artisan. If not, she'll idolize her mother and want desperately to be a skilled huntress like her.

Starlight lives up in the mountains where she can get clear views of the stars. She loves stargazing and the night and will often fly by just starlight or moonlight. One evening, during a snowstorm she has trouble and is helped by a handsome young kirin/wind stallion. They take shelter in a nearby cave to wait out the storm and things just go from there.

He might not be the brightest soq in the stable, but he has a good and brave heart. Junjie and his brother, Shijin, were born in the icy mountain retreat of their father, Icefyre. Their mother is a kirin/wind mare who stumbled across the ice dragon's territory while exploring. Junjie has met a lovely uni/wind mare the color of a starry night and has fallen head over hooves in love with her!

Short Bio
Priscilla was brought up by her mother, a disgraced single mother who mated out of wed lock. Priscilla never knew the story, nor did she care to. She always did resent her mother for bringing her into such a life. Her close family was very high caliber, and while she saw them from afar and witnessed who they floated through life, she never participated nor received any kindness. Because of this she came to resent her mother and push her away, trying to make a name for herself in social circles apart from her. To date she has had no success.

Short Summary of their plotline: Kaito and Priscilla are rarely together because of Kaito’s love of the sea and adventures. Despite Prscilla’s upbringing as a mare wealth, she has fallen easily into the groove of domestication. While Kaito is away she keeps their home tidy, the food stores stocked, and everything ready for when Kaito returns. When he does, however, Priscilla is able to step back into her role as pampered princess. He will frequently bring back gifts, tell her stories, and attend to her as his princess.

What is their family dynamics? It will be a lot like that of a family with one parents who leaves on business frequently. There will be long spans of time when Kaito is gone, but he will always bring back gifts for his children and they will never feel unloved. Priscilla will also try and fill in any gaps with the mannerisms and decorum of her station and the stations her children will be occupying
Traditions: Kaito pirates treasures which he then gives as gifts to the sea. When Priscilla feels lonely for him she will also par take in this tradition on her own, as well as accompany him on the short sojourns he goes on.
Herd/Family culture: While the couple will not necessarily be bad parents, they will both be a bit distracted with other things. Priscilla will forever be striving to attain the elusive dream of society while Kaito will be pirating. Because of this the family be a strange combination of solitary and social. Priscilla will drag the children to social affairs, but the family will never be accepted because of the stain Priscilla's mother had attained. When Kaito is home, however, Priscilla will neglect her duties as a "socialite" in favor of doting on her husband and being doted on by him.
Religious Beliefs: Kaito has one belief and that the sea is the creator of all. And therefore she should be worshiped and given offerings to show ones loyalty and thanks, it'd be something he'd instill into his children.

If a Boy: A sort of hybrid of the two parents. He’ll attend the social events his mother takes him to, only to stray off to pilfer whatever jewels and treasures he can find. He then hoards them away and, as a child, he will wait for his father to return to offer them with him. As a young man and adult he will offer them himself, at locations no even his mother knows about.
If a Girl: A definite tomboy. If Priscilla had a mane, she would turn it grey. She runs off when Priscilla turns her back and when she finally returns she’s cacked in mud and wild eyes with some adventure she’d been on. She’s not so much into offering, as she finds the ceremony boring. In her mind, living to the best of her ability is offering enough to the Sea.
Father's Owner:
If a Boy: A roguish rake, taking up his fathers waves he'll thrive to be a pirate captain himself, minus the with holdings of a mate. Though a ladies lover, he'll always have that certain charm that mares cannot resist but it'd never go beyond a simple tryst, the sea his only real love.
If a Girl: Daddys little treasure, she'll be her daddies girl through and through. Charming and feminie, she'll be the prized daughter to both her parents, with enough of her mother in her to made her father grin, and a taste for more adventure in her life to make her mother sigh, she'll take both worlds and fuse them together to suit her needs.
