I don't know. There's still something about the way he sings that bugs me. But I think I kinda "judge" him because everyone compares his voice to Brendon's, and it fricken drives me nuts. scream I mean, I love Fall Out Boy. But if we are pointing out Patrick...I don't know. Just, ugh. xD |

Granted, I'm using knowledge I gained from one choir class, so I could just be full of s**t here. xD
What? You can't really compare the two. They're different, and their voices are beautiful in their own unique way. heart

Yes, that does make sense. xD I was in choir for six years! Ahhh! burning_eyes And that is exactly one of his vocal flaws that I can't stand. Yeah, he's from Illinois, but coming from the north is no excuse. And his articulation is... talk2hand I'm just a vocalist snob. |

Then listen to Spotlight.
MASSIVE improvement.
I dont' find his weird vowel shaping to detract from his performance that much. I mean, I still cream my pants every time I listen to his cover of Green Light
But I get that since you've been in choir longer, people who don't use proper technique may bother you more. |
