Okay, so I'm trying to build an Exodia deck but I'm not quite sure how I should go about it. I know I need a BUNCH of draw / stall power, but I need suggestions for what would be best to put in it.
Note:: Cards I'm definitely wanting to put in it are...
Exodia the Forbidden One Right Arm of the Forbidden One Right Leg of the Forbidden One Left Arm of the Forbidden One Left Lef of the Forbidden One Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord Exodia Necross Contract with Exodia Gold Sarcophagus [possibly x3]
I'd like to have it be mostly based off of Normal Monsters because of Exodius' effect, plus then I could have...
Heart of the Underdog [possibly x3 for safety of one or two getting destroyed]
and maybe some others. Anyway, can you guys help me out at all?
Note:: I know this deck won't be very good, I just wanna have it to use and say I have. I've got a friend that thinks he can beat and Exodia deck so I'm gonna prove him wrong [he's pretty good, but he's not all that good].

Fresh Porn http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Exodia_OTK Thanks! 3nodding I saw the a little while ago, too, but I didn't get why they don't post full decks. Do they expect you to add the rest yourself? Do they expect you to have multiples of some of the cards? It was a little confusing for me. sweatdrop

It points out key cards but they don't post "full Decklists". Just the Meat and none of the potatoes. So really it leaves up to you for your playstyle and tastes. Once you pick a particular Recipe Type, I can help you from there. I have destroyed many an exodia deck in my time with my good friend spirit reaper and D.D. Crow :3.

Friend of mine had an Exodia deck which he would always get Exodia first turn. I can't exactly remember the details, all I remember was Royal Magical Library x3 Upstart Goblin x3 Broken Bamboo Sword x3 Golden Bamboo Sword x3 Magical Mallet x3 Toon Table of Contents x3
Shenanigans like that. Building up spell counters on Royal Magical Library to keep drawing, all the while utilizing those spells for draw power and deck thinning.

Okay, so I've got a pretty good base for the deck right now, but since Appropriate only allows me to draw 2 cards per time of them drawing outside of their draw phase then that means I need more draw power to ensure that I'll get to draw or something. Hopefully between you, others who help, and then myself we'll be able to create a pretty awesome Exodia deck.
Note:: I wanna keep it at 40 cards in my main deck and try to get 15 cards for a side deck and have it be where those 15 cards will completely change the style of the deck when swapped with 15 designated cards in the main deck, you know? That'd be kinda neat.
Well, we'll see what people can do with this. sweatdrop
Monster:: 15 [I think I might have too many... not sure though]
x2 Chainsaw Insect x2 Renge, Gatekeeper of Dark World x1 Exodia the Forbidden One x1 Right Arm of the Forbidden One x1 Left Arm of the Forbidden One x1 Right Leg of the Forbidden One x1 Left Leg of the Forbidden One x1 Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord x1 Aqua Madoor x1 Naturia Ragweed x1 Vortex Trooper x1 Dark Magician x1 Kuraz the Light Monarch Traps:: 16
x3 Appropriate x3 Legacy of Yaya-Garasu x2 Defense Draw x1 Mirror Force x1 Reckless Greed x1 Jar of Greed x1 Negate Attack x1 Disturbance Strategy x1 Fruits of Kozaky's Studies x1 Common Charity x1 The Gift of Greed Spells:: 9
x3 Cup of Ace x1 Mystical Space Typhoon x1 Monster Reincarnation x1 Book of Eclipse x1 Magical Mallet x1 Giant Trunade x1 Infinite Cards Side Deck:: 0
None at the moment
Total in Main Deck:: 40 Complete Total:: 40
