Dylan could hear Benjamin's troubles behind him, and he allowed himself a quick glance to look, but he couldn't pay too much attention. He was still racing towards the goal posts, but he guessed that he shouldn't have glanced back at Benjamin at all, since almost as quick as he had disappeared, Echo had appeared right behind him, and took the ball from his grasp. He stopped his broom, immediately turning himself around to follow, attempting to steal it right back.

Benjamin finally got his bearings, looking up to see if Dylan had gotten to goal and he didn't...fortunately for him. So, he made his way up back into the action, hoping to catch Echo by surprise or something. Maybe he could get a steal off on the older boy. It would drastically help him in making the team if he did.

Maybe he had caught Echo while he wasn't looking? Maybe this was what happened because he got the quaffle pretty easily. Maybe he just placed his steal well, but he was going the other way with it fortunately. And he looked for the others, trying to keep aware where everyone was.

Benjamin scowled as he felt the ball be poked out by Dylan. He shook his head and turned to catch up. He needed to really get this quaffle from Dylan. He wanted to get one past the keeper really, but he didn't know if that was going to happen. He also didn't like his chances so far because quite frankly...he was getting outplayed. That was really the only way to explain it.

He tipped the quaffle, hoping that it would shake loose, but Dylan had retained it somehow, much to the distaste of Benjamin. He didn't want the boy to do bad, but he wanted this spot and he wasn't going to go down without a fight.

Dylan kept speeding towards the goal, biting down on his lower lip hard once again, sensing Benjamin creeping up on him once more. Soon enough, he felt the ball wiggling under his arm, which just made him tighten his grip even more. Thankfully, he kept the ball by an amazing stroke of luck. If Benjamin had gotten anymore of it than he would be going after him instead.

He kept himself going, wondering why he wasn't getting the ball away from the boy. He hoped that he would succeed with this steal attempt, because if he didn't, there was nothing between him and the goal. He went extremely hard for this one, reaching in for the Quaffle.

He was much better this time with it, getting the steal pretty easily. He had exposed the quaffle a bit and Benjamin took advantage of the fact that he did. He then turned and flew the other way with the Quaffle...towards goal.

He was a bit frustrated, seeing as how it always seemed like the ball would be stolen from him whenever he was about to throw the ball in, although he reminded himself that this was just practice, and besides.. he was glad his fellow housemates knew what they were doing. He sped after Benjamin, going in for another steal.

Benjamin progressed further down the pitch as he dodged through Dylan's steal attempt. He was almost there and he was glad...glad that he had gotten remotely close to the goal, because it seemed like he hardly had the quaffle that day.
