Shina walked briskly out to the field, aware she was running a bit behind. "Hello Cathryn, good to see you again!" she said as she drew close, taking a form to fill out. A moment later, she handed it back. Swinging her Firebolt 2 off her shoulder, she perched sidesaddle and hovered with her toes just brushing the grass as she waited.

Ver looked up at Chase and smiled at him. Her fingers were tapping a rapid beat against her leg to try and calm herself down. She wasn't exactly worried about the try outs. She was good at Quidditch, and even if she didn't make the team it wouldn't be a huge bummer to her. Her terrible shyness on the other hand made socializing hard for her. She gulped. "T-thanks!" She said with a bit of enthusiasm. She was excited after all.

With a huff and a stumble, the temporary captain, Rosemarie Alvern, arrived on the quidditch pitch. "Hey! Thanks for starting try outs for me." she said to Cathryn, as she looked at the group. "Okay, so what do we got?" she said taking the forms from Cathryn. Looks like we should have a full team. she thought. "So Cat, our keeping Keeper, right? Ok, Chase is defending his chaser position, as am I. Rufus, looking to replace Shina and Shina wants Seeker. Seeker or Beater for Verily, did I pronounce that right?" she said looking at the girl. Shortly after she looked back at the forms. "Phi will keep her position. Okay everyone! Up in the air!" she said pushing up into the air.

Shina kicked her leg over from sidesaddle to proper position astride the broom and pushed off, rushing up into the air. Shina was happy as a Chaser, but she thought she might be able to do well as a Seeker. She needed to show what she could do and see where her senior teammates thought she would fit best. Whatever position she got, she was going to do her best to help her team win this year!

Ver nodded when asked if she had pronounced her name right. "Y-yeah. But you can just c-call me Ver." When they were told to get up in the air she kicked off from the ground following Rosemarie. She figured if a third year was going for Seeker then she probably wouldn't get it, but then again, when she had played with her neighborhood at home she had been pretty good, so she figured she had a pretty good chance, and even if she didn't get Seeker, she was a good Beater too. She breathed in as the air whipped around her. Flying was the only place she really felt confident.

Rufus jumped on his broom and started to fly. He hoped he'd impress his fellow ravenclaws and get a chance to join. He thought of the mashup game before it was his only real practice before the tryouts and he'd hope he'd do alright. "Well time to show them what we can do girl." He said to his broom as he padded it like a pet. the moontrimer may be rather old but he liked it for how high it could go.

[Sir Spazalots]

A piercing whistle filled the air. Calling teh attention of the team. "Ok, positions everyone!" she shouted. She grabbed the Quaffle and tossed it towards Chase. Lets see how people do. she thought as she moved towards the field. "Chase start us off. Ver, You'll be trying for Beater first, Shina, Seeker, one with best time wins." She flew down and released a single bludger, tossing the bat to the girl. She then released the snitch.

Selena walked onto the pitch, late unfortunately. But it seemed as if not many people were there. So, she didn't really didn't feel that bad. She hoped to make the team, or at least watch the tryouts. She saw Risemarie Alvern and walked over to her.

"Hello Rosemarie, do you have any spots open, or do you not? If not, I'll just watch. I see Shina is going out for seeker; so I can just tryout for chaser like my other two brothers." she said to Rosemarie, smiling. Selena was always a chipper girl. She never argued either.

Rufus caught the ball and started to make his way to the goal. He moved he saw that Rosemarie was releasing the other balls or he would have passed to her looking back to Chase. He passed it back to the third year chaser. Since there was no one trying to steal the ball yet it seemed a good chance to practice passing.

Ver caught the bat as it was tossed to her. Her grey eyes caught sight of bludger headed straight for her and she swung her bat back. She figured since she hadn't been told otherwise that she should be aiming for the rest of the tryouts, so she aimed towards Rufus and swung her bat full force.
OOC: 43 or a 50 to hit them
above 65 it's hit you
between 45 and 50 to reach the Bludger in time and hit it away from team mate
