Phi smiled as brightly as she could manage toward Tristain, feeling positive joy at seeing the sweet girl, even as her blue eyes clouded with seeing was was brewing in Phi's molten ones. Everything seemed to be lifting from the cold fortress of spiralling thoughts and numbness of disbelief as she stood with her team mate and closest House Mates. The papers in her hands made no sound as she flattened them against her thigh, straightening them out and sorting through them in swift motions. Ideas and unconsciously provoked concerns for try outs and practices immediately flooding her mind looking at the filled out spaces. A decision bright in her eyes before she even managed to nod sternly to herself.
"Right," she whispered poorly before clearing her throat and lifting up her eyes to address her team, "All right, I am sure you all trust that the decisions I had made with your team-positioning last year was well thought out and considered. I did extensive thinking before announcing them to you and, even though I know that for a few of you those positions were not the ones desired, I still stand by it. S-so we wont be having try outs. For this year, your positions are those of last years and we will go straight onto practising." the slowly dissipating groan and fluttering disappointment in the eyes of everyone had Phi straightening herself, frowning in steel. "Trust me in this, as I trust in each of you and your abilities. I think I know where you will work best in the dynamics of this team and so my last decision stands."
A shaky sigh escaped her parted, full lips just as she swallowed thickly. Her mind desperately attempting not to focus on the face that she had just spoken the longest string of words in many months. Gazing towards each individual with no malice of strength apart from the heavy hope of being trusted. Nodding then, after the silence, her instruction flew off just as stonily as her address had, "Kiremono, if you could grab the trunk please, otherwise everyone grab your equipment and up into the air."
Turning then, as though in final thought, to Tristain, Phi inquired in whisper, "Was that horrible of me?"

Though she still seemed a tad uncertain, Phi was gaining control, and informed the team that they must be satisfied with their positions. Cathryn, fortunately, was, and as soon as the order was given, she mounted her broom, and began flying. After a few practice laps later, Cathryn hovered just above the heads of her team mates, waiting to begin.

Tristain could physically feel the atmosphere lighten as Phi began to explain the conclusions she had come to. While the third year was surprised, she was not at all disappointed, especially because it meant she got to hold on to her position as seeker. On top of that, she really liked the way their team played together, and clearly, their captain had trust in their ability to beat their opponents as they were.

When Phinelia whispered in her ear, Tristain could hear the anxiety emanating from her voice, though she couldn't help but let out a quiet giggle, her eyes on the group of students who were now entertained with the mounting of their brooms and their usual warm up routine. "Not at all. I'm actually very proud of how confident you're becoming as a captain. It suits you well," she told her in a hushed voice with a sweet grin on her face as she swung her right leg over her Nimbus.

"The more you trust us to win you the trophy, the more we'll trust ourselves." Tristain added the last bit in a voice that mocked professionalism, but still portrayed the fact that she meant what she said. With that, she laughed once more, winked at the red-headed captain, and pushed off into the sky so that she could get a few laps in before practice started.

"Yes Captain!" Shina replied, slipping off her broom to grab the equipment chest. Shina was fine with keeping her current position for now. She was a year below Trisain, and given her family's build, would likely always be small, a good thing for a Seeker. Her chance to be Seeker would come eventually, either after Tristain graduated or maybe just in later years when the difference in their builds switched where they could be best assigned. For now, she worked well alongside Chase and Rosemarie, and was improving her skill on a broom.

Dragging the equipment chest over to Phinelia, Shina made sure to smile at the older girl. "Here you go!"

Tristain's encouragement brought a flutter to Phi's chest and she sheepishly grinned at the younger girl, sister in every bond but blood, and feeling vaguely foolish for having any doubts when she showed none at all.
Shina returned to the group with the equipment trunk and Phi helped her tow it the last few feet, smiling meekly and bowing her head in thanks to the girl. Eyes quickly focusing on the majority of her team already doing laps and balance tests in the air, awaiting her instruction. Seeing the trust in their eyes had been a fortification and Phi clasped her hands around it eagerly, hoping to lead them further on.
Unlocking the chest and sorting through the few things there - throwing the Quaffle up to Chase with a smile and yelled out call of 'Catch!' - and tracing the moving chains securing the Bludgers.
With another call to her team for their attention and caution she released one, ducking to avoid its violent exit into the air, before finally releasing the Snitch. Seeing the familiar glint and strain of Tristain's brow as her blue eyes sharpened in the very definition of focus, eyeing the golden flash and never having her eyes leave it.
"All right, everyone into positions! Hope all the Chasers are padded up, the Bludgers seem angry. Lets begin." she called out, quickly grabbing the familiar weight of the Beater's bat and throwing herself onto her broom, lifting off to join the rest of her team. Instructing the Chasers to practice their passing first and foremost, before attempting any goals on the Keeper.

{chasers can start rolling for passing and attempted scoring, keeper rolls for defending once they attempt to score, ill be rolling for hitting the bludgers, and seeker to get the snitch.}

Shina grinned and threw her leg over her Firebolt 2. Pushing off hard and fast, she rocketed into the air with a gleeful whoop. She couldn't resist doing a few barrel rolls before she settled down, looking to Chase.

Shina caught the ball easily, thrilled to feel no wobble from her broom. It was wonderful to not have to worry about her broom failing her whenever she caught a pass. Shina looked around for Rosemarie, but the other girl wasn't in position to catch the ball. "Pass back!" Shina called, lobbing the ball back towards Chase.

Phi grinned watching the strong passing happening between her two Chasers, smiling at seeing Chase's strengthened comfort with the sport and grown muscle from practice. Shina's accuracy and focus had improved greatly and Phi was excited to see the improvement. "Very good you two, now try a bit of scoring." she proceeded to follow them on her broom (every so often flying up to hit away a Bludger from any of the other team mates) calling down formations for the Chasers to assume mid-throw and flight. Watching her keeper with a keen eye and another focused on Tristain.
Suddenly, the Bludger whizzed in the air, flying towards her, turning to face it, positioning herself, she swung her bat aggressively against it, aiming her throw towards Shina.

Shina leaned to the side, going straight over into a corkscrewing barrel roll that successfully evaded the bludger. "Bzzzt! Try again!" Shina called cheerfully to Phi as she came out of the dizzying series of acrobatics on the opposite side of Chase, seemingly unfazed.

"Pass it Chase!" Shina called.

Phi smiled keenly at Shina's good-natured teasing, flying over head and attempting to keep one eye on her Chasers' manoeuvres and another - more cautious one - on the Bludger she had just shot away.
"Good passing, well done Chase," she called out another formation for them to take just as Chase dove towards the goal posts, stopping only to pass to Shina. Phi beamed at seeing this decision, barrelling on her own broom as she saw the insane ball rushing back towards Tristain. She shot it away, aiming once more for Shina. Watching pointedly how she managed the multi tasks.
Her wrist slipped and before it happened the redhead could see her mistake in form. The bat grazed the bludger only slightly, barely moving its path that she had placed herself right into. Ducking quickly to her left with wide eyes, hissing when the hard ball bumped her cheekbone. Watching it barrel away far off the pitch, ready to return soon, cursing herself inwardly.

Rosemarie had been feeling nauseous for a moment and so she had rushed into the locker rooms. Returning and wiping at her mouth she said a quick apology to Phinelia. Then she pushed her broom off of the ground and glided up besides Chase. "I'm back." she said despite her high temperature. Focus Rosemarie. she lectured herself as the wind blew her hair out behind her. A slight cough escaped the girls lips and her sweaty grip on the broom made it difficult for her to stay stable. With a sneeze the girl lost her grip and slid off her broom, falling towards the ground below. A sound of terror escaped the girl as she plummeted.


(( Rosemarie was here the whole time, she was the one who opened try outs. I've just been busy with my new guild that just opened. I know that Klutzy intends on for Ethan to stay on the team but she is busy with RL stuff at the current moment. ))
(( Also sorry but I decided Rosemarie not feeling well was why she wasn't so active. She got a case of the flu so she's burning up, nauseous and dizzy. ))
