STAR testing? I cant say I've heard of it. I think the version in Canada are the P.A.T's. Provincial achievement tests,I have four this year. I did my social one last semester and managed to scrape 92% my other three are mid May to June ending. I am actually sort of excited to get them off my back.

im not in high school yet but i am takeing the CST's im dreading the history >.<
Because Oregon is incredibly stupid, it's now required for the incoming class to pass all tests to get their diploma.
Okay, so standards are necessary, right?
But graduating with a modified diploma is considered dropping out.
That's right. Special ed. & ESL kids can't take OAKs tests.
They have modified diplomas.
Special ed. & ESL graduates will be considered drop-outs.
[/RANT]
They do that...can they actually do that. That is really unfair.

Oh! How interesting. ;o I'm from the US, I guess you can say STAR testing is pretty much standarize testing. It doesn't really do anything to us, though. I heard they make us take the test just to get money for the state, which is pretty weird. o_o That's so messed up with the diplomas for the spcial ed. & ESL graduates.
