xxxSo it seems like I'm not really any different from anyone else on here but I figure that if I'm starting one of these then maybe I should go all out. I tried to make it pretty. . . I really did, everyone.

Name's Emma. I was born with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (I'd love to chat with someone who's in the same boat by the way), I'm a fan of roleplaying, and I've finally set a goal which I'm dying to reach.

This summer (July, 2011) my aunt is hosting a party as she does every summer. This summer she's planned a talent show and, when this happens, I'm determined to put on a great performance. I've dreamed of singing since I was a little kid and now it turns out my cousin's started to become a known musician (his the same age as me). After I started hearing everyone talk about him I've really started to get fueled about it. I'm singing this summer in front of my family and I'm going to look good doing it.

The goal, I think, will be 20 lbs by July.

I'm taking my first step by keeping this journal to keep me inspired. Any encouragement would be great. n.n

May 3rd: Get down to 165 by May 3rd
x♫xI'm determined to reach this goal because I promised myself that if I do I'll buy that guitarulele I've been looking at for months.
July 1st: Get down to 150 by July 1st.
x♫xNot sure if I'm going to make this deadline but I have yet to work out anything I'll do if I do reach it.

April 3rd, 2011 I'm adding the Weight Watchers Points program to my format now which means for some changes. I don't want to count calories but I figure this is an easy way to keep track of my food and it'll help me more than just trying to eat healthy, right? Hopefully. So my format is now changed!

      Music: I listened to a lot of Marianas Trench on my walk today. The lovely boys from Marianas Trench were happily accompanied with Stephen Jerzak (Cute and Small Town Celebrity almost made me dance while I was walking) and the boys from All Time Low.
      TV: Watched the new episode of Break Out Kings while I did my crunches and such!

      Observations: It was nice out today. I'm glad I didn't get out in the morning and let myself sleep in. Wouldn't have been as enjoyable if I just went on the stair climber thing.

It seems you're on the right track. Don't be discouraged if your weight loss isn't instant. It's better to have slow weight loss and keep it off than instant that comes back. heart

If you're getting up earlier, go to bed earlier too. Getting enough sleep is crucial to weight maintenance.
