I just saw live footage of a tsunami tearing apart Japan, it's expected to hit Russia, China, Palou, Guam and everything else in that direction!!

I'm asking that all non-residents of the Path-of-Destruction please pray for our Eastern Pacific members and tourists!!

EDIT Facts as of 2:00PM Eastern

Facts as of 2:00PM Eastern for the Pacific:

1) 1,000 people in Japan confirmed dead or missing. 80,000 injured.

2) US officials report almost all US citizens in Japan accounted for.

3) Hawaii, Alaska, and California confirmed hit. Many boats destroyed, waves reported higher than 5ft.

4) Despite US Military aid, the cooling system of the Fukushima nuclear power-plant has failed and will need to vent radioactive vapor to prevent meltdown.

5) Google has set up a People Finder to help families find each other: Google People Finder

6) Jefferies International Ltd., a global investment banking group, estimated overall losses of about $10 billion.

7) As of 2:00 PM Eastern, Central Japan was hit by a second quake MAG 6.6.

EDIT 8.) 4 people in Crescent City, CA swept out to sea. 1 confirmed dead.

9) Earth's Crust ruptured! US Geo Survey says the crust has a hole in it 150miles long and 50 miles wide!

I'm praying for my home and all the others expected to be affected.

I feel really bad for Japan, I have family there and it's very sad because even though we've confirmed our immediate family is okay, we don't know about extended family or anything. D:

I live in Hawaii, and I live outside of the potential zone to be hit, but school has been closed, our cell phone network's down, and we might lose power so we're currently getting our house ready. D: I'm just taking a quick break. >_< It's supposed to hit at 3:00 am my time and it's 1 now, so I'm staying up in case my parents need me for something...

Please have hope, though, because we pacific islanders take these warnings seriously and are currently taking all the necessary precautions. In fact, the tsunami warning sirens are going off as I speak! So hopefully injuries and damage will be at minimum for Hawaii and everywhere else from this point forward. Still I'm praying for here and all other places.

I just heard about it a few hours ago. D: The worst earthquake in Japan since the known history! And an even more destructive tsunami... Terrible news.
My sister is going to Japan as an exchange student in 11 days. I'm glad she wasn't there yet, but I hope the locals (and tourists) will survive this catastrophe. The number of deaths is still unknown, but I hope that those in danger will be rescued on time. D:
Also good luck to all the other places that might get hit soon. Luckily the communications between countries are working well and everyone is getting prepared now. Let's hope that damage will be minimal! : S

The way I see it, Mother Nature is culing earths population sadly the first victims were like.... The most tech-advanced race in the world so I'm sad about that but they released the death toll to 200-300 people found dead *sigh* Mother Nature is so cruel to us

I heard about the earthquake and everything. gonk
It's so scary. It's kind of hard to swallow.
My best friend lives on the coast of Washington, I hope she'll be okay.
Same for everyone in the way of the Tsunami and in Japan.
I hope the damage isn't much more than what's already been discovered,
but it's already way past minimal.
I hope the Tsunami doesn't do much damage.
Hopes to everyone in Japan and the pacific. D:

Moved it here, as i think i can safely say this affects everyone in some way.

I heard about it this morning, but only saw the pictures tonight on the news. It's truely awful. |:

I'm not religious myself, but these people are certainly in my thoughts.

(Also, maybe tone down the caps lock on the title please? D: )

Changed it.

I watched it happen live. I was watching TV while surfing the net (bad habit sweatdrop ) and I started channel surfing and all of a sudden I land on CNN and see burning houses and boats floating down a crop field! D:

I started freaking out because as a night-owl, most of my Gaian friends live along the Pacific.
