ABOUT ME

I'm Natalie. I'm fifteen years old, and I live in Colorado (5,280 baby!)
I'm a high school student. I'm in Drawing Level Two, and I also participate in National Art Honors Society.
I started drawing when I could hold a pencil. I've always drawn people. I'm a people watcher by nature.
My preferred media is graphite. I also dabble in the realms of charcoal, ink, colored pencil, digital and chalk pastel (I also like to fool around with a camera every once in a while).
My style is... difficult to explain. I would say that it's a mixture of realism, American style cartooning and just the tiniest hint of Manga (TRYING REALLY HARD TO STOP DRAWING LIKE THAT).
I love love love redlines. And, of course, critiques are awesome.

Okay, so I did this piece a couple of months ago, and it was my first real realism portrait. I used a ref (the link is on the Artist's Comment on dA), and it took me... some amount of time.
It's graphite on paper.
Yes, I know, I got lazy on the hair.
