I haven't been able to test the Lances yet but their theory far surpasses the strength of Bottomless Traphole. Since the deck lives and breaths from monsters remaining faceup or on the field (Breaker, Chimera, Beast, Dragons, et al), the Lances will counter the Mirror Forces, Books of Moon, Bottomless Trapholes and Torrential Tributes of my opponents.
Bottomless Traphole is nice but any and all of the Dragons can handle the end result monsters of anything Bottomless Traphole will hit.

Forbidden Lance sounds like an awesome idea, i might use it.
You know my opinion on Shark, I'd advise using anything else.
I never understand 3 PoD in a Scrap deck, does it not clash with the special summoning of S.Beast/S.Dragon/S Twin Dragon...??

It's all set up. Pot of Duality is a great first turn drop and a great drop if you ever NEED to draw something or don't NEED to special summon. Obviously if you are locking them with Level Eater + Dragon shenanigans or whatever other loop, just hold it in your hand. Just because you have it, doesn't mean you need to use it.

Haven't had it come up as a dead draw yet. I rarely draw the thing as it is. It's usually Foolished, Sharked or Stormed away.

Labyrinthknight7 New scrap http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Scrap_Kong WTF? How is that card useful. Grrrr. If it was special summon then it would be a good card. You leave your field open to bring a monster back. I'd rathe play beast and scrapstorm it.

Everyone would rather play Beast and Scrapstorm, it's the best opening the deck has.
Regardless, that card is utter s**t. I can see why it MIGHT be useful, just a kick start for the engine, but it's just bad.

I dont mean to go off topic but I really think Konami doesn't care about Scraps, the support so far has not been amazing. Part me of me likes that because they have less appeal to the meta community. But it also sucks because it makes it harder for us scrap players to adapt our game to the new formats. Grrr

The Bellido brothers CRUSHED a regional with a Scrap build. It's a highly recognized top tier two deck. All the support we have received is AMAZING. We don't need things like Scrap Sheen and other shitty support. What we have received is beautiful, flat out, beautiful.

I think scraps were created as an alternative to actually fleshing out junks, but scraps gained more power and support than they expected.
I think that because of aesthetic similarities (even though junks look more robotic, and scraps look like what junk should look like)
That aside, I will say that scrap kong is s**t when compared to the rest.

Maybe if the gods retained their original effect, but the whole archtype is nerfed in terms of monster power.
