The Story

This is a story of music, passion, mixed-up priorities, heartache, and love overcoming it all. An international rock musician meets a small town waitress at a diner after a big concert and it's love at first sight. Passion enters the story as they're love grows. But then they're passions get mixed up. The musician signs a contract for a ten year world tour without consulting his girlfriend. She had been traveling with him to quite a few concerts and the life style of being a musician's lover was changing her. They both come to realize that every rose has its thorn and that they have to break up. He takes the contract and she stays back home. They both find new people to distract them from their broken hearts. She meets a business man and he meets a flight attendant. But the heartache never seems to go away, so he writes the last song about their love. He then realizes that he cannot live without her and that he doesn't want to lose her. He soon comes back to the small town to find her. But she's married to the business man. It's not that she doesn't love the musician, it's just that she got tired of waiting for him. Other things had been going on in her life and the business man was the safe option. Now the musician must win her back, or lose her forever.

The story will begin with the big concert and then when they first meet in the diner. He's with his band and she's their waitress.

There are a total of four characters in this story, but since two of them aren't involved in the roleplay much, I've decided to make this a one on one. Someone will play the men (the musician and the business man) and I will play the girls (the waitress and the flight attendant).

I'm an innocent small town girl. At first I'm a very shy, quiet girl, but when you get to know me, I come alive. I seek adventure, since I've never really had one. I easily fall in love and I'm kind to everyone, since I've live in a town where everyone knows each other my whole life. I love animals and I'll pretty good people skills. I enjoy dancing and singing, especially in the rain. My parents are always telling me that I should be dating and getting married, so I tell them that I'm searching for the right man.
The Past Isn't Important Anymore:
I was born in the small town of Winterville and I have lived here my whole life. I've had a few boyfriends in my life, but none of them have ever lasted long. They've either cheated one me or have been complete jerks. I planned my whole life to go to college to become a business owner, but that dream was taken from me when my mother became ill. I couldn't leave my parents after that. So I got a job as a waitress at the local diner and I've been working there for four years now. I really hope I find love one day and get married, but I don't it'll happen anytime soon.

I am the child of an army man. I was born in America, but my father gave me a French name because he loved that country so much. I traveled with him most of my life and I loved it. The only part that I didn't like about it was that I wasn't able to have many friends and I was never able to attached to any of my boyfriends. I became a flight attendant because I loved the traveling lifestyle and I knew no other way of life. So I fly all around the world, exploring new places and enjoying life. I've been with so many men and I love my life. I guess all the traveling has made me detached from the world so I don't mind being without love... but sometimes it still bothers me sometimes.

The Setting



Most of the Roleplay will take place in the small town of Winterville. In this town, there are a couple of diners, a few gas stations, the local ice cream and candy shop, a small movie theater, a fancy restaurant or two, the local grocery store, a few apartments, neighborhoods, a few schools, and a lot of open space. Some of the role play will take place in other places, wherever the concerts take place. The musician and the flight attendant will be in quite a few countries as he goes on his tour. There may be a couple of time skips here and there.
