Cosplaying ~~ Help me choose please?

So me and my friends need to figure out what we are doing to cosplay for AB this year. We are trying to stay a few days, and I really want to do a group cosplay. There would be three of us in the group, and we kinda don't want to/don't have enough money to buy wigs, so we want to keep it simple.
I wanted to be a character with pink hair and bangs because it would be fun to dye my hair pink, but the only series me and my friends could think of that they would be willing to do with a pink haired character was Naruto. I refuse. My next idea would just not dye my hair pink, and be Yui Hirasawa from K-On, but my friends aren't too keen on that plan since they would also have to get hair cuts for a group cosplay....

Sorry this has been kind of long, but does anyone have any ideas? Me and friend 1 have shoulder length hair and friend 2 has hair down about halfway on her back. Suggestions that don't involve too much hair cutting please <3

Pink hair makes me think of Yachiru from Bleach, or Nana from Elfen Lied. Bleach would be easier to choose from because there's so many characters to cosplay as.

You can do a Paradise Kiss cosplay as Miwako has pink hair.

For a group of three, you can do a three with either Tohru, Uo, and Hana or if you don't mind cross playing, the mabudachi trio-Shigure, Hatori, and Ayame.

OMG, so exciting~ My friends and I that are doing this K-on cosplay are learning the song 'Don't Say "Lazy"' so we can play it at the con (since my friend that is Mio has the instuments and was like "we should really carry them around and look super cool" and then I decided we should learn how to play something on them to be cool)
So yeah, we will be learning to sing/play guitar/play bass in three months. YAY!~
