Well I want to make a warrior class but, I heard you can go dexless underfunded. My question is do you need to be the same level as the monster you're trying to kill in order to hit it?

Every level you're below a monster, you have a 5% chance to miss it. So it's still reasonably good if you're 1-3 levels under what you're training on.
I'm sure Dex doesn't play too terribly big a part in accuracy anymore, but I'm really not the expert on this type of stuff. In my non-expert opinion, go Low DEX if anything, just in case.
The new level 140 weapons give pretty massive set bonuses. Again, I'm no master of the elistist's ways, but perhaps enough to make un-statless characters a lot better compared to statless ones.

Aside from equipping the level 140 stuff (which not everyone will want to do, won't be out for a while, and requires 170 dex), you no longer need dex on a warrior. heart
They're currently one of the cheapest classes to play because they don't require a secondary stat to equip their weapons and armor.
Dex DOES matter. Just as much as it did before, methinks. But the bonuses are much easier to come by nowadays, especially considering potential.

All stats does matter and all four of them improves your character a lot. warriors need DEX mages need DEX archers need DEX(of course...) thiefs need DEX pirates need DEX but, of course you don't need alot for warriors.
