Hello all and welcome to this particular plot thread, Finding My Way to You, a fairytale of sorts that shows the trials, tribulations and triumphs of two very different characters as they seek a dream, which ultimately they find in eachother.


Now, as I am a bit of a sucker for fairytales, this is going to have the hero and heroine go through hell before they can finally achieve their happily ever after-and yes, they will eventually find it.

As I own both, I will not be looking for any romance for either.
What I will be looking for are villains, anti-heroes, helpers and hinderers and so much more....

~Flutters with a purist mindset who could have been a part of the Romannika herd who knew Laures as a foal
~Soquili with prejudice against flutters or males or certain personality types- (rival’s’ )
~ A healer, or someone to rescue him
~Best friend/confidante (male or female)
~ an advisor/mentor/teacher
~ Villain (s)


Voices of the past:
~ Those who knew Liliah as a foal, uni/kirin who could have been a part of the herd for a while, or those that were helped by the herd healers
~ A vicious/ bat-s**t insane kalona or skinwalker that is determined to destroy the nomadic herd/ commit genocide against the "pure" races
~ teachers, mentors and friends of a teen/ young adult Liliah
~ young stallions who might have a crush on Lils due to her appearance and/or status as the mystic's sister, or those who might be rival's/ jealous of her for the same reason
~ physical/mental healer to help her overcome trauma which nearly shatters her mind

Present- time:
~overprotective friend (for either, or perhaps one for each) who doesn't believe they are good for eachother, might set tests to prove they are worthy

Once Upon a Time

Alright, here's the basics so far (computer ate the file that had most of the info, so please bear with me while I re-type the info and such):
Lady Liliah meets Laures in the forest while being trained by her mentor.
She thinks he’s an annoying flighty pest, he thinks she is someone who needs to smile.
They find common ground and become friends of a sort.

Liliah meets and has a o.n.s. with Gojyo. Laures watches sadly, thinking that with the stallion, Lils may have found her happily ever after. He is sad for her (though elated for himself) when it just doesn’t work out, and Gojyo leaves Lils. He is there to lighten her spirits and just listen as she struggles to care for the basket and then foal left in her care. He watches as the strain becomes too much and she abandons Zoey. He is torn, wanting to be there for Lils, and also wanting to make sure that Zoey is all right. He waits until he’s sure that Liliah isn’t going to harm herself then tells her he’s going to go and make sure that Zoey is alright.

Returning to where Zoey was left, he is alarmed to find that she is gone. He tracks her down, though it isn’t until she has found her place with Istas and family that he sees her. Content to know that she is happy and well taken care of, he returns to Liliah’s side.

But Lils has grown rather cold in the time that he was away. The once-friendly relationship they had is gone. Liliah tries to push him away, fearing that if he becomes important to her, he will just end up leaving her behind, so it is better for her to act first.
