I thought it was pretty interesting and it might help a bit... I think...

50 signs of a bad artist

1. They never admit their lack of drawing skills. They insist that it's their drawing style.

2. They always make excuses for the poor quality of their works. ''I'm still practicing'' or ''I'm working on it'' are the most common excuses.

3. They draw bad characters with a mouse and tell people they don't have a tablet.

4. They always draw heads and faces.

5. Their characters always face the same way.

6. Their proportion is awful.

7. Every character looks the same.

8. They draw the same faces with different hairs.

9. Their characters' angle and direction are very odd.

10. They don't care about the basic drawing.

11. Others only care about the basic drawing.

12. They have no idea what a layer is.

13. They always draw one character(no more than two characters in a single canvas).

14. They always draw characters in the same angle.

15. All of their characters have the same facial expression.

16. Static and passive poses; they can't draw characters in dynamic poses.

17. They never draw feet.

18. They can't draw figures from high or low angles.

19. Some of them don't even know the definition of high and low angle drawings.

20. A horrid figure drawing in dynamic pose can be turned into a 4th dimensional abstract.

21. Same character looks totally different when it is drawn in different angle or direction.

22. They can't draw anything other than characters or draw everything but characters(as apposed to backgrounds, objects, etc.).

23. They always draw cute characters.

24. They don't know how to draw old people.

25. They don't know how to draw hands.

26. Their characters hands are always hidden(because they don't want to draw hands).

27. The idea sketch is professional but the actual quality is lacking.

28. They try to cover up one of the eyes(most often with hair) so that they only have to draw one eye.

29. Their works are always asymmetrical/symmetrical.

30. Lineart = finished piece

31. Rough sketch = finished piece

32. They have no knowledge of anatomy.

33. They only draw eyes.

34.The size of the characters eyes and/or boobs are ridiculously huge.

35. They love boobs but they don't know how to draw them properly, so they just appreciate them.

36. Their works are free from all logic awkward anatomy and proportion.

37. They lose confidence when other people's works look great.

38. They think they are genius when they come up with satisfied quality.

39. They collect other people's works as practice references but in reality they collect them as a collection.

40. They are not patient enough to practice.

41. They think tablet is the magic wand of art that can make them draw amazingly just by having it.

42. They regain confidence when other peoples works look worse than theirs.

43. They are more than willing to draw but lose the spirit very easily.

44. They completely lose the confidence when they see the works of true genius.

45. They only draw once a month or even once a year.

46. They get mad when their favourite artists are being lazy.

47. When they draw Hentai art, they end up drawing grotesque horror pictures because their proportion is so ******** awful.

48. They don't have faith in themselves.

49. The word 'slump' is their most common excuse for being lazy.

50. They realize their problems and know where to fix them but they never do.

I do some of the "Bad artist" things. XD I just don't like to experiment much, I think.

1. I never draw feet... Honestly, it's because if it's a person that's just facing forward, I don't know how to shape them xD [[I'm actually trying to draw feet right this moment]]
2. I never draw hands.... I used to draw hands.... I'd make 3 fingers 3nodding Whenever I try 5 fingers, it comes out all deformed. xd It's also another thing I'm trying to add into the drawing I'm working on now.
3. I can't draw old people. Well.... I tried once.... it looked like a face with lines in it O.o;; And I can't draw realistic if it were to save my life! Dx But, in collage or something I'm probably gonna take an art class and learn how. ^^

when I have trouble with hands,I either use a new stick of lead,or I insanely sharpen my pencil,hope it helps.
anyways,almost half of those are true for me.like when I draw a character,I can't remember exactly how the design looks like so sometimes I just innovate and it looks better than the original.also I have problen with angles.

i know i may fall under some of these (although i know how to draw because i've been drawing my whole life and the laziness in doing my work is only because drawing has become more of a homework to me now then actual fun. and who likes homework?), but i think the only one that stuck out to me was the feet thing... the thing is though i don't know how to draw feet well, but i still put them in. i try. and i'm getting somewhat better.

I think everyone, good or bad can identify with at least one of those points... the points are kinda general so something like Sketch = final piece (Which I always do, for practice with gesture), even professionals would apply to them.
