Well here's something interesting, apparently this is the 1903 version of Alice in wonderland . Its the first film version of the book that was ever made, and its certainly unusual looking This version had recently just been restored from the BFI national archive, and runs 12 minutes long usually . Although , only 8 of those 12 minutes survived.

So here it is, what do you all think of it?

Words can't even describe how wonderful that is!

I love the Chesire cat part, that cat was so angry looking!

And all those little children dressed up as cards were adorable!

And the baby turned into a real pig! Eek!

I love it! Thanks so much for sharing!

You're welcome, I thought it was pretty interesting. I wish the quality was better, but overall the Cheshire cat part was probably my favorite. Its unusual, seeing how different this older adaption of the book is compared to the later adaptions.

Especially the White rabbit in each version.

Wow... that is epic. And so soon after the beginnings of film making! It must have taken so long...

This is exciting. Although I dunno 'bout you guys, but I'd be a little hesitant to follow a guy dressed in a creepy bunny suit down a giant hole in the ground... lol

~Advice from a Caterpillar~

I've watched that before~! I like the tea party scene because its really close to the book (apart from the fact there's no talking). I really wonder where it was filmed too (the park areas)... kinda wondering if I've ever been there... I mean it could be in London.

I'm with you on that night, I'd be curious. However I wouldn't follow a creepy bunny down a hole.

@Noir: I bet it probably was somewhere in London. Wherever it was though it was really pretty.
