I picked yugioh up again right as Blackwings reached their peak. However still on the position of being outside looking in I was not aware of the damage they were doing, and how good of an archetype they were until a month later. I did however almost immediately fall in love (if one can say that) with them.The cards alone were so cool, and my active imagination saw them as a flock weak on their own, but strong in numbers.
Then I learned they were meta, and the under dog romanticized vision I had ran into a proverbial brick wall. Now that they are down, and have more members than ever. I thought I would make the PURE Blackwing deck I always romanticized about.

i'm sorry but your gonna need the staple cards, cause without them... it gonna be hard to win... (since i'm also trying to work on blackwings as well lol just a different format.... like adding red nova dragon in the extra deck)

"Did you get that the poll was asking about the deck idea in general not necessarily mine. I went against some deck building instincts and added some of the newer ones.
They really didn't have to limit Black whirlwind.

Junk 1t you can live with just blackwing monsters, you're just not picking too many kalut shura blizzard sirocco bora (spear) aurora (maybe) gale calm (big maybe) vayu (maybe) are the only ones you need, at best "Yeah I only used the originals at the beginning, then I lost the deck. I just really wanted to use more of the new ones.

They are good at that still, but they got rid of Blackwhirl wind, so it's impossible to use the right blackwings at the right times."
