Why hello there everyone. It's me, Aku. With my first post since almost ever.

I was just wondering if anyone here had any experience putting together and basing some BFG models, specifically frigates. Just wanted some tips on how to do base them, like if green-stuff is the way to go or if it's better to epoxy it down after getting it painted and such. Kind of a bit silly to make the hole for connecting to the base larger than the peg, but whatever.

As to why, I decided to grab some models to use in my gaming group's weekly, soon to be bi-weekly, Rogue Trader game. So I got a hold of 6 frigates, since they are just about the cheapest thing in the GW store.

Any help at all would be nice, thanks in advance.

You could always paint both the base and stem black and paint stars and space swirls on them.
