New Project I am working on, a character named Obsession!
This first one is the basic scetch of the character. it is done on two layers. The figure on one, the clothing on another. .] The clothing layer is also where the hair, head piece, and face is drawn on. I take a great deal of time to get the figure correct before adding on everything else, otherwise everything else will never work out. XD All this was drawn with the tablet in photoshop. .] I was looking at a reference, and still am as I am working. .3
This next one is basically getting in the base colors... Playing around with the look of the picture. Nothing is really set in stone at this point... Things can easily be changed about.
This was basically a screen shot to show off my 'stress work' in which I worked for about an hour and a half... lol, mainly on the legs shown in the picture, but I had also done the neck, shoulder, arm, and the chest as well. I work in layers, as you can see all the different layers shown in this shot! <3 I work almost as if I was painting with oils. Oh how I would love to paint again! <3 But this way is much cheeper. XDD Anyways... i start with the base -see a pattern? lol- and shade up the skin first, meaning adding all the lights and darks. Then I work to the clothing, the dark blue and the light blue are on sepearate layers for the clothing. The silver, layer, the light blue and the dark blue for the head piece also have different layers. lol, I go layer crazy. It helps though... When you are blending and stuff. .] Not smudging one color into the next. XD
This shows the full body again... Done almost 100% of the shading on most of the body. The face has yet to be touched, alone with the hand and the hair. - The three parts of the body I do detest the most... -_-''''- I uploaded this picture to get pointers on the shading I had already done, in which a few things were pointed out to me.
Basically what I have so far... but I have edited/worked on fixing the face. Its giving me a tough time... but I think I might be on a good road to fixing it. Idk yet. I'll have to wait till I get it all worked in again.
gonk One thing I do hate about it, I never know if its right until I have it all finished... ^^;; I do need to fix several things that were pointed out to me at this point, but once again it isn't complete so it'll be easier to go in and make adjustments where see fit.
So yeah... Any critics would be wounderful! <3 I'll be sure to post the finished images when done. .3
