Acceptance When Hellma lifted up the next student file, a dozen tiny pieces of paper fell out of it. Examining one, her typical sneer became even more pronounced, "Your voice is more melodious than a death rattle. I am drawn to you like a wolf to cattle. I lost my heart to you in an epic battle. OF LOVE. Oh dear Sin, now it it your heart I must win..."The professor stared, sighed, and smashed the ickycom button, " SNOWFLAKE!" She screeched, "Lock up the gnomes! They are in the heat again!" The application went into the Acceptance Bin. The love poems? Bound and sent to the literature department. Hellma was not one to waste a perfectly good form of torture.

Once you enter Suite 999 you are instantly aware that this is the room of a demon used to luxury. The wallpaper stares eerily back at you, a closet makes strange sounds, the dim light of a private kitchen shines out. Despite how creepy the room might seem there are certain feminine touches. Stuffed dolls are neatly piled on a lounging divan, the writing on a calender is in pink ink and a females delicate scrawl. The largest piece of furniture though is the bed which is oddly inviting...Moving Along.

Sin keeps a neat little tally of meetings and those around her who could be good alliances and those who might make dangerous enemies.
Shehk - I screwed up making friends with the Fearleading Captain, I wish I hadn't. Kasumi - Really sweet ghost, but I can't have a ghost friend before I get a demon one! G - A really friendly looking monster, he looks at me like the gnomes do...but he's a monster, too bad. Morrigan - I was getting worried about making a friend, but I think Morrigan might actually be a good one, and she's a demon so I won't look like a total monster lover. Arachne Tangleweave - This demon seems interesting, I'll have to try and make friends with her. Emily Device - I've never seen such a nervous witch Temes aka: Chuppi - I don't know weather to feel bad for this monster or to watch out for her. Alcyone/Alcie - Another potential friend? Please? Tybalt - Puppy Mai - For such a cool looking ghost she's hot. Elizabeth Baines - Her parents own a clothing store and she's a demon, perfect friend material! Jack-B-Nimble - Cute guy, must find a way to bump into him. Calder - Kind of makes moon eyes at our lit professor, why? Coralie - Nice witch, her hat makes me want to laugh, I'm kind of nervous about making friends with a witch though. Junko - Talk about bad hair days... Julian - Most skittish demon I've ever met...saved his life...he owes me

Sin's closet doesn't just have clothes in it, her closet acts as a portal into a strange dimension where a multitude of minipets dwell. Sin has managed to capture, subdue, entrance, or just have them wander into her possession. Two of Sin's mini's never go into the closet, instead they guard her room and make pests of themselves. Pantaloons & Ladyluv are a pair of mated Unmentionables with a penchant for stealing Sin's undergarments. Sin suspects they are using them to build a secret panty nest somewhere in the school.

Sin has a gorgeous figure, but that doesn't mean she won't indulge in the best foods her parent's money can buy. She likes to invite friends over for little parties as well and a properly stocked fridge helps any party. She enjoys playing around in the kitchen experimenting with how to plate foods she hasn't ruined with her cooking 'skills'.

Name: Sin Err Nicknames: N/A Gender: Female Age: 189yrs (This is the 'teenage' years for her species her parents are both a few thousand years old and at 30yrs she was still a 'toddler')
Faction/Race Demon - Succubus
Personality: One would think that being a Succubus would give Sin extreme amounts of confidence and cockiness. Her nose is always up in the air and she rarely ever takes anyones advice or critique without flying into a rage. Deep down however Sin is always struggling to act the part of a real demon. She's terribly afraid she'd defective though and her greatest shame is that she often finds herself attracted to and even crushing on lowly monsters and humans. Her parents, a famous incubus and succubus couple, expect so much of her and eagerly sent her off to school hoping she would learn to terrorize mankind. Sin is much better at tender seduction then scares though and it infuriates her to be seen as a pretty face instead of a frightful force.
Her lack of self confidence often leads her to try and belittle others to boost her own self esteem. She tries not to even be seen around monsters for fear that someone will realize just how much she likes them. Sin is eager to make demon friends, the 'right' kinds of friends and learn how to inspire tremors of terror.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? The truth is Sin's parents sent her off in the hopes she would stop being so introverted. Sin herself however hopes to learn to be more frightening and less flirtatious.
FEAR: Natural Ability: - Frightfully Pretty: The more FEAR around her the better her charisma, and seductive allure.
Sin's unique FEAR ability is: Enticing: When Sin gathers up enough Fear she can entice someones emotions enhancing them so that they feel more. All their emotional feelings are enhanced for a few minutes making them feel more happy/angry/lusty/sad then they already are.
Physical Description: Eye Colour: Yellow Hair Colour/Style: Black with dark hot pink streaks. She always wears it loose and flowing. Skin Colour: Deathly lavender grey. Clothing Style/Colours: Sin always wears black, and she always wears her demon eye brooch. Other then that her styles tend to lean towards the seductive and slinky. Extra: Sin has wings that are bat like, her fingers are elongated and a bit sharp. Emblem:

Forms & Faces Homework
Sin wouldn't have minded the stuck makeup or even the pink hair she and Morrigan were both gorgeous after all. Except this was lasting a bit longer then she expected and what had at first been a fair peach skin-tone was turning into a grungy looking mess! The peachy color was slowly fading and her natural skintone was creating dark looking smudges beneath. Her pink hair was slowly staring to normalize into her normal black with pink streaks. The color was a half and half mix and looking atrocious. She frowned into the mirror and sighed softly, time to take another shower and scrub a little harder.
Two hours later Sin sat infront of her vanity brushing out her hair, which still looked pink with black streaks. Black with pink streaks was her look, but this was atrocious, perhaps if it had been done purposefully it might be better. Instead she was caught in limbo and looking wretched. Huffing she picked up her concealer and started to cover her streaky peach toned skin. This was insanity and the next time she got into her Forms and Faces class she was not going to look like this!
Huffing she stormed off to take another shower even though her skin was getting a bit raw and sore...
The Next Day
Alright that was a little better, barely at least the make-up was helping keep her looking semi normal. Her hair was still mostly pink, but the black was starting to win out after several washings a day. Part of this lesson seemed to be applying this stuff correctly, picking the right stuff, stuff that wouldn't stick with quite such aggression. She brushed her hair out and re-applied her makeup with a smile. Okay lesson learned...

((Sin's IC absence from Amityville Academy from the end of Time/Space Meta till after the Four Clans Meta)) While I was gone... Sin sat in her room her arms wrapped around a scarebear while she stared into her mirror and tried to understand what had happened to her reflection. She knew that she was supposed to be happy with what she saw, her mother was certainly pleased by her daughter's appearance. Sin saw a beautiful demoness, her eyes were glowing with secret knowledge, her lush lips seemed to curve into a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. She saw wings finally large enough to allow her flight, though she had no idea how yet. No scars marred her skin, no marks betrayed all that she had experienced, she looked cool, calm, collected, confident. It was horrible, it wasn't her at all, Sin Err was lost somewhere in that reflection and she was afraid that she would never find her again, she would never feel as good as she had felt when she had first left home full of excitement for the future.
Amityville Academy had been wonderful for Sin, exciting and full of possibilities. It had taken her a while to get on the right footing, to understand that an elitist attitude wouldn't serve her very well, and to make friends. Sin loved her friends, they were the best part of her new life as a student. Junko, Morrigan, Riley, Calder, Christof, Barth, Alcyone…so many many more that she missed horribly.
It had been such a nice day out with low fog rolling over the tombstones, gloom in the air, and the scent of pumpkins wafting in. Not that she had been outside to enjoy it, Sin had been in the library looking for a book to distract her. She needed lots of distractions after what had happened to red, after the broken skull and the cages…the horror of her last school field trip. She shuddered still just with the memory her heart giving a little stutter. For now a book to read, later maybe a swim, and then she could spent the evening with Rosc. Rosc was a very good distraction, of course he was so much more than that. She had returned to her room to find quite the surprise, her mother and father stood in her room with her bags packed up in front of them.
"Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?" She had forced a smile tried to brush back an errant strand of hair even as she felt her insides tighten with concern. She hadn't been home for vacation, she had avoided telling her parents about what had happened, but they would know of course. Their appearance here was worrying, it couldn't be good.
"We're leaving Sin, I should clarify…you are leaving this school, right now with your father and myself." That was her mother always so concise and to the point.
"Leave? I can't leave! Why? Why would you pull me away from Amityville?" Sin felt her voice break above the usual collected tone she fought so hard to keep moderated. She should have known her parents would come, would control, hadn't they always controlled everything?
"This place is dangerous Sin, and you have all sorts of unsavory connections here with monsters and reapers, and that boil." There was an edge now, a dangerous edge to her mothers voice, a lioness protecting her cub.
"You mean Rosc? You wouldn't pull me out of school just to keep me away from Rosciel? He's a demon, from a good family how can you possibly opp-"
"Enough Sin Err! We did not come here to squabble pettily over the matter, it isn't just Rosciel. Amityville Academy couldn't even keep one of it's own professors from dying what makes you think for one instant that your father and I would leave our only child in such danger? We are going home and that is final!" Her mother had grabbed her arm then and dragged her out while her father carried her bags and locked her dormroom door behind them.
She wanted to kick and scream, she wanted to wretch her arm away and tell her parents she wouldn't stand for this. She wanted to run to Rosc to tell him where she was going and that she didn't want to leave. She couldn't even manage a word though, she let her mother lead her down the hall, down the stairs, out of the demon dormitory and into the waiting car. She was in shock as they drove across the campus and out the gates…away…far away from the life she had come to finally enjoy.
When they had arrived at the Err estate Sin couldn't even remember getting out of the car, or reaching her room. She could only remember sitting at her old vanity all her things perfectly in place with little cobwebs decorating them. Her mothers hands gently rested on her shoulders a small reassuring her in the reflection in the mirror. Her own lips were downturned in an unusual frown, Sin almost never frowned this way, her mother had always hated it.
"Don't pout Sin, you should be happy to be home darling, your father and I missed you so very much. You can go back to private lessons here at home with all the comforts and luxuries that school didn't have! Your father will even spar with you…you'll see, you'll be much happier soon dearest." Her mother had brushed her hair out then, 100 strokes as usual. She had smoothed the back of her dress, flashed Sin another smile in the mirror and then turned and left.
A few hours later Sin snapped out of her shock, she stood and turned to her desk to write Rosc an eee!mail, but the Pre-C was gone…her phone…was gone…her eye-phone…had been in her room had her parents packed it? Why were her things gone, no not all her things, just her methods for communicating with her friends? Of course, her mother would think of everything, cut her off from everything that could remind her of or tie her loyalties up in Amityville. Sin trembled and felt her nails bite into the skin of her palms, her eyes stung as she looked around her room. She could rage and scream and insult, but it wouldn't do her any good. Fighting with her parents was a useless endeavor, they would never stoop to arguing with her when they could simply overrule or ignore her. Rosc…she had to get in touch with Rosc somehow, but how? She had saved his number…on her computer and on her eye-phone neither of which she had access to. She couldn't eee!mail him without her computer either, and a letter was out since her parents would probably screen them. She would just have to wait until the opportunity arose and hope that he would figure out what had happened, wouldn't think she had just left because she wanted to.
She should have foreseen that her parents were much more clever than she had given them credit for. There was no access to the world outside of the Err estate for Sin, even on trips she was watched so closely her mother might as well have been a Beholder. It was starting to get to her she was depressed, there were no more distractions from the horrible memories of everyone gathered around Red's skull, from the haunting memory of Rosc slipping from her grasp and into a deep dark chasm, from the spikes impaling Malodore and Riley while the ground shook. She woke up terror filling her as the memories made vivid entrances into her dreams robbing her of any rest she might have found at home.
It wasn't long before she could hear her parents debating in hushed tone, debating…because the Err's would never stoop to arguing about the fate of their only child. Her father was worried about her, she wasn't the same, she was depressed, she needed to get out and be with others her own age. Her mother was equally worried but she couldn't understand why Sin wasn't happier to be home, happy to be away from the dangers and stresses of Amityville. She thought Sin would re-adjust in time, maybe a party would help? Her father disagreed, Sin didn't need a party, she needed to be social with her own age-group again, and maybe getting to say goodbye to her boilfriend would help?
"She's already said goodbye…well…I mean…I didn't want that boil trying to keep in touch with her so I logged in to her eeel!mail and broke it off for her. I didn't want to put her through that after all and they were too serious."
"How could you? You and Sin were always so close if she knew what you've done she would never trust you again. Don't you remember what we were like my love? We were serious too…and everyone thought we would break up as soon as we left school."
"That was different, we both knew what we wanted and we wanted each other. You were powerful, influential, with a good family, and very handsome…still are. I had excellent breeding, wealth, my family and yours had always been friendly and we were both at the top of our respective classes. I want Sin to find someone perfect, someone to suit her drive and ambition."
"You forget how in love we were…and still are. Don't you want that for Sin more than just a good match? Maybe her ambitions have changed my love."
"Of course I want Sin to find someone who loves her, I just know how easy it is to mistake infatuation for love…and how dedicated to Sin do you think this boil is? She's just starting out and already she's been through a lot…and I don't think things will be getting any better, any easier…she needs someone who can really be there for her, someone to be her rock. I know Sin, she's just confused, but she's still my daughter and she still wants power."
"Right now I think she wants friends more darling, and I think we should enroll her in the academies DOOM program. She'll be able to continue her studies, make some new friends that will fit in more with your social circle, maybe it will help her get over things."
"The Demon Academy? What's wrong with her private tutors, they are some of the best."
"It's wrong for her to be cooped up here at home darling, she isn't a scareling anymore she needs more than just her mothers company. Sin is growing up, she's beautiful young demoness and she had friends at Amityville…friends she didn't get a chance to say goodbye to. Don't worry…she'll always be our daughter."
"How easily you sense my fears my love…You think I haven't noticed how much she's grown? She doesn't look at me the way she used to…she doesn't admire me as a role-model anymore, she looks at me like some archangel come to pass judgement on her. I know I've been…harsh, but I've always wanted what's best for her. Alright….enroll her in the DOOM program."
It wasn't long before her mother brought her the brochure, but this time it was just one pamphlet not like the first time she had picked a school from dozens. Demons Of Outstanding Mark A Demon Academy program for ambitious young demons with higher level thinking looking for challenging and engaging learning and activities. Sin glared and dropped the brochure on her vanity with a huff of annoyance, did her parents think they could jump her around from school to school without her caring? At least going to classes would mean leaving home, and maybe she would finally get in touch with Rosc, though how she still wasn't certain.
It didn't turn out to be as easy as she had hoped, the Demon Academy was much more strict then Amityville had been. Uniforms were mandatory and despite the luxury of the school and dorms the DOOM program paired students to be room-mates to encourage a social environment. Well Sin's social environment wasn't very social, her room-mate had been informed of her ban from both phone and computer which meant no outgoing calls or eeel!mails. She tried writing Rosc a letter, but she doubted it was going to reach him. Her classes were laughable, nothing they had counted as 'challenging' for her after the challenges Amityville had thrown at her. She knew better than to excel though, she held herself back and soon became bored enough with that charade that she just skipped classes altogether. Most of her time she spent working out, reading in her room, and watching the other demons interact. The other demons made Sin feel…horrible. She had believed her family was very race and class conscious, demon superiority had always been something touched on in her home, but it was nothing compared to the fevered Demon pride of her new school mates. The others were horrified that Sin had gone to a school that included monsters, ghosts, and undead! The Fearleading captain was a monster? She had friends who were undead? There were non demon professors? She had stopped mentioning Amityville Academy at all since it only earned her horrified looks and sneers of contempt. The others either looked at her with pity or disgust when she spoke of it and soon Sin found herself even more isolated than she had been at home.
Depression slowly sunk in on her, she despaired of ever getting to see her friends again, of ever feeling Rosc's arms around her. She was written up for not attending class, her parents came. They realized soon enough that the Demon Academy and even the prestigious DOOM program weren't going to be enough to get Sin to forget Amityville so they packed her back up and took her home again.
This time Sin hadn't left behind any friends, she didn't care about leaving the academy and she was thrilled when she had a chance to burn her uniform. Months had passed and Sin looked incredible on the outside, but inside she felt dissipated. Finally her mother slipped in and sat down beside her. She slipped her eye-phone into her hand and sighed.
"Sin, I just want you to be safe and happy…I had no idea you were so attached to your friends at Amityville. Look…I don't want you talking to that boil, but I don't want you miserable either pumpkin. Let's just forget about everything, the academies and all that and go back to the way it used to be. You're back home now, and that should make you happy, your father and I will bring back your private tutors and maybe you can start up flying lessons, you finally have the wings for it." She leaned in and kissed Sin's cheek before leaving her alone.
Sin's finger hit the speed dial for Rosc a second after the door clicked closed. She only had a few moments before she heard her mother coming back and had to end the call, but it would have to be enough. She hugged her scarebear to her chest and set her phone down trying to look calm. Her mother slipped in and smiled at her.
"Not calling anyone? I realized it probably needs a fear charge." She picked up the phone then smiled and brushed back a strand of Sin's pink hair. "You've grown so much while you were at school Sin…you look beautiful, I'm so proud. I'll bring your phone back once it's charged." She turned and left again leaving Sin staring at her own reflection trying to understand… Potions - Sin returns to the school and is transformed into an Unmentionable!
