hey i joined this guild a while back after i beat the game i kinda got off focus of raising my pokemons level and ive transfered all of my rare or strong pokemon to my pearl from heartgold and im gonna start over on friday or saturday the reason i posted this was do yall know which starter is the best? i usually choose typhlosian but i herd ferraligator is really good too? and also do yall just raise a starter or focus on more than one throughout your main party?thanks for taking the time to read this and im always looking to make new friends on gaia so feel free to add me just add a note.

I guess it'll depend on what team you're using and what your fighting style is.

I picked Feraligatr, and I'm happy I did.

in my opinion grass types are the weakest cause they have many disadvantages

mrgreen Advantages or disadvantages pokemon types don't make them weak, its their move set with the stats that make them weak
example idea :
teaching a machamp hyper beam is useless due to the fact it has low s.attack but if you taught it giga impact then it would not be so useless sense it has high attack xd .

theres no really weak pokemon but as above said don't teach Pokemon moves that don't go well with its stats also since the 1.5x effect bonus is good try to teach them moves of the same type that also go well with its stats

anyway sorry that might be way to obvious anyway Best starter i honestly choose Chikarita but i honestly don't think its the best so maybe the Water one totodile is a better Choice then again a great Trainer can raise a good pokemone that can even go against a bad match up

If u want a challenge pick chikorita the grass types are the hardest to do
