Am I the only one who was totally thrown into confusion by the sudden appearance of Gaia Achievements?
I've been here almost since year one...

I was confused, too! I haven't been here that long, but I was just replying in a thread, and this gold thing went across my screen, telling me I received an achievement because I verified my email.... I did that almost a year ago....

It came along with the creation of Gaia Labs. They decided to do that to get newbs aquainted with the place easier.

I don't think I have the verified e-mail achievement.
And I've had this account for almost five years, with a couple different e-mail addresses. stare
On second thought, I do have this achievement. Yay, Shady!

I've been a member since 2006 and people are telling me this achievements always been there for awhile and this is my first time really seeing it.
What are they for?

I think they were around for a short while, and then disabled again as far as i'm aware.
And i think they've enabled them again.
Not sure though. o.O;

As of yet the points can't be used for anything, but i know they were saying they'll be going towards stuff.

They are pointless at the moment.
Maybe just to try and compete with your friends and show
them off to those around you? I don't know. :3 I really do
hope they count for something.
