Help on making a banner for advertistment

Anyone have tips or answers on these following questions I need answered?

1) How do you make banners?

2) How did you put your link to your art shop to the banner?

If you can able to answer these question that would be a big help ^^ .

all i can say is...ask pandie, she made my banner

1. Well you make an image the size of the banner you want then upload it to an image host.

2. You put it in your signature in bbc code like this..

[url=http://ocean-pearls.deviantart.com/][img]http://i29.tinypic.com/15hd99y.jpg[/img][/url]

Notice that the link is the link to page and the "name of your link" is an image/link of your picture.. hope that makes sense.
