So I am in dire need of improvement. Well all right, it might not be that serious to some people, but I want to be as good as I can be, and I have a lot to improve. Comments and critiques are always appreciated, even redlines if anyone is willing to do that for me. I know there is a list of guides and tutorials, but I'd like any that would benefit me most.

I'm planning to improve traditionally before I try doing anything major in digital. Tradigital it the way to go for me :3

Hello Nurren!
I hope you don't mind my nitpicking ^^
I saw your drawing and it was really good!
The proportions where excellent.
Overall, I would just recomend trying to
make the body less stiff.

This has more details:

REDLINE
It's a really crappy redline, but I hope it helps
(the scanner screwed the words up. sorry.)

proportions need a bit of work, the torso is a bit too long. For the silhouette around the hips, remember that the pelvis sticks out a fair bit (look up the iliac spine for a reference!).

For the head, eyes are always lined right in the middle of it. The skull is actually quite large, and comes out a fair amount at the back.

It would do you a lot of good to start learning to see the figure as sets of shapes rather than lines. This will help you a lot more with proportion, anatomy, and gesture.

Your redline looks very good, and I think it opened my eyes on some things

While I think this will take some time to get used to, I will take your advice, I just spend several minutes drawing the shapes, while I'm not totally satisfied with my result, I will continue to practice. Honestly, I really wish I could have you as a mentor, but it doesn't look like you're doing that right now. Oh well, you do great work <3

Just keep posting to your sketchbook thread. I try to look at all the current (within the last week) posts 1-3 times a week as time permits.

Also, the more active you are in critiquing others (just do the best you can), you will get more feedback from them at well.
