Ive been wondering about this for a while now but never thought to ask here. As most of us do, when we finish a deck or begin buildin one, we always go for the highest rarity. I know i do. But thats not what im here asking... im asking, "when you play someone, do you look down at them because of low rarity of cards?"

I don't focus on the cards, I focus on the player. The best players can make these silly decks killers.

Not really... because my deck doesn't really have really rare stuff in it.

I don't say much to people about their decks unless i know a lot about the deck. i do silently laugh to myself at the people in my area that spent several hundred to make their deck and then some kid shows up with an almost common version of the deck.
I actually have downgraded almost all the cards in my GK deck to their lowest rarity except the assailants. those suckers are super rare xd

Judge the play style of the cards.

I've never really cared. I myself tend to de-shine so that if anything gets list, damaged, or stolen, it's not a big loss.

Once I have build a deck I will try to get shinyer versions of the cards but only buy trading. I don't buy a card if I already own it in a lesser rarity. There reason for this is that I like shiney things and it gives me something to do as I will have the same deck for a long time.

As for playing against someone with a deck with lower rarities it makes no difference, it's the player I'm focused on. You could give the best, most expensive, super rare deck in the world to someone who isn't very good at the game and they would lose. Give a common card deck to a pro and they could beat you.
Also, quite a few cards needed in deck combos tend to be common/rare. It's only the stupidly powerful cards that are super and above. But it will be the lower rarities that make the combos work.

Don't judge a player by their deck, judge them on their playing skill. This also applys to those few who are really good but don't have the money to buy packs to get really rare cards.

i like the common versions, they're usually cheaper. i do admire the shineyness of other players decks though.

While I tend to use many holo, or otherwise rare cards, I use just as many common versions of rares.

Rarity doesn't matter to me.

Now, if the player treats their cards like crap, and they're in bad condition...yeah, I'll look down on them.

I once liked to think to myself how cool my extra deck was because by some weird twist of fate I always pulled some of the rarest versions of synchros whenever I got them in packs, but then one day I went to a local tournament and this guy had a synchro deck with EVERYTHING in the ABSOLUTE highest rarity of cards like stardust and the 3 other original signer dragons along with lots of others...Yeah I don't think my extra deck is that good anymore and I'm definitly off my high horse now...

I don't care what rarity people use.

Personally, I like to go for whatever is shiniest or looks best.

Usually I just go with whatever I can get though.

i would always go with holo cards they look way cooler
but i am fine with common cards
also though shiny cards are way way better

I'm ocd, I have to have everything max rarity otherwise I freak. I don't care what rarity people use *even though I hate how some decks/cards turn from 700+ to no less than 100. But when you see an obvious noob with expensive things like super book of moons and things like that, I'll probably b***h at them for having their mom waste money on things they won't win with.

I only put the rarest versions of each card in my deck for my own personal amusement.

I don't pay attention to the rarity of the cards my opponent uses that much. Well, unless the opponents cards look like they've been put through the washer/dryer at least once, then there's a sense of pity or apprehension.
