No, if you don't have "that" deck you don't win. |

http://www.konami.com/yugioh/blog/?p=2597Well it's surprising but Machina Gadgets have won this large tournament with Infernity coming second. Also strange, both top 4 places went to X-Sabers. 7 Infernity, 7 X-Saber, 5 Gladiator Beast decks made up over half the top decks with Infernities doing the best out of these 3 and Gladiators doing the worst. Top 32 decks are: 1st: Machina Gadgets 2nd: Infernity Top 4: X-Sabers Top 4: X-Sabers Top 8: Herald of Perfection Top 8: Frog Quickdraw Top 8: Infernity Top 8: Infernity Top 16: Frog Monarchs Top 16: Gladiator Beasts Top 16: Infernity Top 16: Infernity Top 16: Magical Explosion Top 16: Machina Gadgets Top 16: Synchro Cat Top 16: Gladiator Beasts Top 32: X-Sabers Top 32: Gladiator Beasts Top 32: X-Sabers Top 32: Gladiator Beasts Top 32: X-Sabers Top 32: X-Sabers Top 32: Quickdraw Dandywarrior Top 32: Quickdraw Dandywarrior Top 32: Synchro Cat Top 32: Blackwing Top 32: Infernity Top 32: X-Sabers Top 32: Quickdraw Dandywarrior Top 32: Lightsworn Monarchs Top 32: Gladiator Beasts Top 32: Infernity

You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.

You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago. It's a nice build combining Gadgets, Machina, Cyber Dragon and Jinzo Returner.

Boxxy 110 but the person who won is a well known cheater at 4 different sjc's dqued in t16 with no prizes and 3 different regs same incedent with the dq... Well I would assume with such a reputation a close eye was kept on him so he had few chances to cheat. I hope so at least.

Anyway I think Infernities are the real winners with 1 in the top 2, 3 in the top 8 and 7 in the top 32.

I can read <.<
Never thought Jinzo was all that useful...
Honestly...it looks like s**t.
He has an extra deck with no tuners (which supposedly could be fixed by brain control) and even included a Machina Force in the mix...

To the members here who have looked at Lightsworn, Blackwings, Infernity, etc., and sought THOSE decks as people who only play to win, don't be fooled.
What you should know, is that it was not Machinas that won this grand event. It was Peter Cheng, AKA "Cheater Peter Cheng".
This person is well-known in the Tri-State, Pennsylvania area as one of the worst people in this game, not in skill, but in competition. Previously to the YCS, Peter Cheng has been disqualified, without prize, the past 3 Shonen Jump Championships he has attended, and the past 4 Regionals in the PA area alone. This is not something to look at in saying the deck is great, but the disappointment of how the tournament had really been won.
Of the top 32 decks, only two were Machina, and top 32 is where they both would have stayed if the player hadn't been Cheater Peter Cheng.

Jevan R. H. Divinitive http://www.konami.com/yugioh/blog/?p=2546 Reading the final match, it doesn't look like he cheated, or even needed to cheat. All he had to do was continue attacking for most of the duel. Yeah. Sure. Because Machina do more than continuously attack to begin with, and topping a Machina Gearframe when his opponent conveniently used Solemn Judgment to halve himself into punching range really isn't at all suspicious for someone with a PREVIOUS RECORD OF CHEATING IN TOURNAMENTS.
Peter Cheng should not have won.

I top into Gearframe all the time...
...it's the magic of having three of a good card.
I will admit though, Jinzo and Returner in a Machina deck are beautiful. Swarming the field never happened faster for me. (swapped out Gears for Jinzo in YVD to see how it worked)
