So this is just a collection of thoughts that i had going on in my head that i put in book form. Its going to be constantly under construction but feel free to post. Here it goes:

Introduction: The Game
Graffiti as It was explained to me is just like a game of war. Your hand style, your tag, what ever the hell you call it, plays out as the infantry, your basic building blocks. If You place them everywhere with ease and ability, you'll never lose the war, maybe just a battle or two but never the war. Your throw, throwie, throw up(how ever you say it), are like your tanks, placed more strategically. When your throws are up with style and precision, these are your battle winners, people are crushed and destroyed with with these. A writers piece are like a well placed bomb, as well as the bomber plane, they should burn and destroy. These are your war winners, placed more strategically then the last, were they can be seen, destroy and inspire. Beware, while it takes you hours to build, it can be shot down in seconds.

The whole purpose in the game is to take a word, and see how big you can make it, how far you can take it, and how much you can twist it. Those who can't make it , take it, or twist it, drop out and become a have not and a never been.

For every good writer that's made it ten toys have fallen, dropped out and quite. This isn't for the faint of heart, kids die every day out here. If your not careful your number can be punched any day, and you'll end up a splat on the concrete, brain matter on the wall, or the owner of a new cell in your local state prison . If your not prepared to dive off of a freeway sign, or go into the police station with your hands together and say ”Arrest me please”, this isn't your game.

Chapter One: Getting started.
On the illegal side of using spray paint there are four types of people that use it: Your first is teens and gang bangers with spray paint. The kids and sons that write I heart Bethany, Jimmy was here, or GDK 4 LIFE. They aren't in the game, they don't write graffiti, they do it for the thrill or to mark whats theirs. Your next type is your Toy.

Toy is a term used for inexperienced writers, kids just starting out, often refer to themselves as taggers, who like to go tagging. Most toys don't have a hand style, call boxes throwies, and try to piece before they can. Its a state of mind as well as a term for newbies.

The toy eye is killer, that box throw and all those arrows don't give you style,
kid get the ******** out of here, and get style or get out, we don't wanna see that s**t. Be on the real, keep your head down and your mouth shut. Just because you think you can write, doesn't mean others should know that. Keep it on the down low, the reward comes from the self gratification and the execution. The more people that know, the more people that can turn you in, every one is snitch. Just because they've been your friend for years doesn't mean under heat they won't turn on you.

Watch what you do and don't start s**t you ain't ready to back up or can't , and for heavens sakes don't go over the veterans on the grind. They have been out here longer then you have, and are better then you, get over it. You have no right to go over them, but they have every right to go over you, they are thinning the herds, and trying to keep whack out and the real in. Its a real good way to get your paint snatched, and your ribs broke. Word to the wise though, if some writer tries to vamp you, don't back down. Sure you are going to get the breaks beat off you, but the streets will show you respect, and in this game that's all you got.

Staying to the paper and the chill spot, will keep this from happening to you. But don't become a backyard bomber and an internet posting b***h. For they front, and hide in the shadows. Stay real and go to the streets when you get ready, and you'll know when you get there.
