I was trying to decide which verson I should buy. I want your opinion!! Votes and tell me why you thing either Heart Gold or Soul Silver is better biggrin

i pick soulsilver. from me and my homeboi view its a better game no doubt but i actually got heartgold XD. mainly it depends on the pokemon u like better. do u like lugia or hoho? or kygore or groundon? cus they are the ones u mostly choosing for

Yes, but for Pokedex purposes it does not matter which game you get, if you are looking to have Lugia and/or Ho-Oh.
What should really be looked at is what other Pokemon are offered on each game.

Lugia is kind of lacking in attack but has good defense and I think Ho-oh is the opposite. So it depends on what stats you prefer.

I'd rather get SS, since you can catch Lugia before the Elite Four, and you can pretty much pwn the entire Elite Four with just the lugia. *w*

Thats fine, I still prefur Lugia thoe. 3nodding Mite not be the best attack, but its still good.

Catching a Pokemon you actually want to use is best if caught at a lower level, that way you can effectively EV train it, so purchase the one that has your favorite lower on it if you plan on using it, and having it be as good as possible.

Click 'Pokemon' where you see a a box with the title 'Contents' to see the Pokemon that each version has that the other doesn't.

I got HeartGold because it has Growlithe in it. :3

I like to use Lugia in uber battles because it learns recover, and I use Ho-oh and Kyogre for sweeping.

I prefer Ho oh considering its more mysterious than Lugia. Hell They showed Lugia too much on the series and it brought it down for me. It even got a movie. Ho oh is my definite Fave <3 Heart gold all the way.
