That's what I hate about the DS games. To get any form of enjoyment from dueling on it you need to use cheat codes. But without them you never seem to unlock that pack you need to get that card which will make your deck playable.
Does this one also give you the crappiest starter deck ever and expect you to play with it for the first 5 hours of game play?
Sorry for ranting but it is really annoying!

If I didn't have to deal with hours upon hours of grinding the Dark Beginnings and Dark Revalations packs just to get enough of the generic staple cards, I wouldn't be so opposed to having to earn DP and get packs the original way.
Unfortunately, because of how damn big those packs are, everyone has to grind through 'em until they get all their staple cards. It sucks.

I can't think which of the games it was but one of them you could choose one of the structure decks as your starting deck.
That was the best idea ever!
As they have a working theme, staple cards, good win condisions and a chose of what type of deck you want to play with. Then you added cards to that to power it up then play or a few hours with it until you have unlocked packs and can build a deck you want.
Alot more enjoyable then being given 40 random cards and the kicked into games with skilled players.
