Riolu Breeding is a Pain!! HELP!!!

PLZ HELP ME!!! MY LEVEL 54 RIOLU ISN"T BREEDING WITH A LEVEL 1 RIOLU!!! WHY NOT?! DIFFERENT GENDERS TOO!!!! HELP!!

Ask the old man outside if they seem to get along.
If it says that, then it just needs time for them to make an egg.
I've had to wait 30 minutes for an egg one time, no clue why. But it still happened, so w/e. xd

Lucario.

Babies can breed actually. That's how I got all my starters. Bred then traded away. Never bothered to evolved the ones I have; didn't grow fast enough.

They could just not be compatible. Either they are from the same kin, same Trainer # or really just don't like each other.

Riolu evolves into Lucario, and it MUST be a Lucario to be able to breed. Baby Pokemon such as Riolu or Pichu are unable to be bred...since it's kind of like trying to breed to puppies, or two foals. You just can't do it.

Edit: 1st evolutions and Baby Pokemon are different, just for clarifying. Treeko is a 1st Evolution, Cleffa is a Baby.

gotcha. but the question is how can you make them breed faster? what game you playing? HG/SS? im new to breeding on that one.

What do you mean by breed faster? You mean hatch eggs faster? Theres certain abilities that can hatch them in half the time required. I believe its magma armor? and 1 more....I forget the name. sweatdrop

Magma Armor and Flame Body i belive. i have my national pokedex on my lap now reading about D/P/Pt breeding
