It depends...Cause in HG/SS, you can also travel to Kanto after you beat the elite for in Johto.

But for me, it's a toss up between Hoenn and Sinnoh, since those areas are just so large to explore

Sinnoh. Same as Diamond and Pearl

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - Hoenn

Diamond/Peal/Platinum - Sinnoh
