Personality:Care free And A bit of a smart mouth. A real Punk Kid. he often duels with a very serious Attitude. and On top of that he's also a Rich Kid so he may be A bit Stuck up
Appearance: Spiked,Red Hair. Blue Eyes. Light Tan. Usually in Black Clothes, Black Over Coat, Wight sleeveless shirt, Black fingerless Glove on his Right hand.
Role in Plot: One of the Main Characters. Sloan is the Younger brother of a Duel master named Rusty Steeler, But Sloans always been seen as the Shadow of his older Brother. Sloan and Rusty Are whats left of their Family, And Sloan Intends to duel his way past his older brother, and also find the people responsible for Taking away his parents

Personality: The "Bookish" type, air of overconfidence about him, doesn't care what others think of him, has an appreciation for history. Has split-personality disorder with a deck to match, Gemini acting more like a mysterious anti-superhero.
Appearance: Blue shouler-length hair, pale blue professor's clothing, pale blue Duel Disk appearing like a fish's fin. When he becomes Gemini, he wears a Red / Blue cloak, a blue / red wig resembling L'Aqua's hairstyle, and a white mask with the Gemini Zodiac symbol emblazoned on the front.
Role in Plot: As L'Aqua, he is a mentor of the main characters who tests them in preparation for a big threat. As Gemini, he randomly challenges the main characters to duel at the most inopportune times, though sometimes aiding the main characters in other duels. L'Aqua is unaware of Gemini's presence, but Gemini can see and hear everything L'Aqua does. Much later in said plot, L'Aqua discovers the existance of Gemini and they duel against one another using shadow magic. L'Aqua manages to defeat Gemini and bring him under L'Aqua's control.
He later uses this to his advantage to test his abilities against the main characters in double-duels a la Saiou / Sartorius's sister, Mizuchi / Sarina. However, he uses two duel disks at once rather than splitting into two different people. While he does this, he dons the wig to differentiate which side is which. The Blue half is L'Aqua while the Red half is Gemini.

Name: Kit Segawa Favorite Card: Koa'ki Meiru Maximus Deck Base: Science themed Koa'ki Meiru Personality: Kooky, Fun, always happy even while losing. Appearance:  Role in Anime: Side character. Mostly comic relief, but has plenty of duels. Winning most, but doesn't let it go to her head at all, but she would be fined for excessive celebration.

Role in Plot: Just a random drug addict who's very good at playing card games on motorcycles. He is able to speak to duel spirits, but everyone thinks it's just his drug abuse.

Appearance: Student of Duel Academia who is normally silent and is hard to notice.
Personality: Indifferent
Role:helping out MCs, on the side works on a D-wheel that resembles a UFO and can actually float and fly using momentum. He originally used stolen parts but after Yusei found out and defeated him (cuz thats what MCs do to minor chars) he promised to stop stealing and use his research data to help Yusei make a better D-wheel. He also searches for a man that is said to be unbeatable and also uses an Alien Deck.

friends of a main character. Only person other than yusei with a stardust dragon (thats known of)
Favorite card: Flamvell Firedog/Stardust dragon.
Duel spirit : Flamvell Baby
Deck: Flamvell, goes back and forth between different flamvell strategies, mainly sticks to flamvell cat.
Eventually ends up stumbling upon the neo flamvell cards as time goes on.

Personality:Claims to be on the side of good, but does the opposite in his duels.
Appearence:Very menacing, however mantains a constant twisted smile twisted .Black hair, a black jacket with a red under shirt, and black pants, Eyes are a crimson red. Duel disk is Grey/Red, while D-wheel is a Pitch-black color.
Role in plot:Antagonist that defeats people in shadow duels using his cards to slowly drain his opponent of their life(through their life points).

Personality: Calm, cool, colective, random and funny sometimes but serious when to the law.
Appearence: 6 feet 5 inches, a little bit tan, bad posture, hairy and with a body of an mma fighter.
Role in plot: A kinda of an old recruit rejoining sector security after some fights with Trudge, trying to find some duelist who supposedly have started a new sect of rare hunters but on motorcycles and he must stop them yet he can't really drive a bike but he is a good cop and detective so the rest of the 5d's group train him so he can stop this group once and for all.

Role in Plot:A young man who has a love for historical things and does his best to learn about them. He aids sector security from time to time as a volunteer security guard in museums. He's recently stumbled upon information about the ancient people of Yliaster and his investigation is drawing people's attention, both friendly and not.
