Just got infected with Pokerus

Personally I hate it, its nice for the little boost it gives but I hate the little yellow smiley face it leaves after its cured. How do I prevent it from spreading to my other pokemon?

You cant unless you put the infected pokemon in the PC
Or get all your pokemon out your party away from the infected one and use him til it turns into the smiley face....

It only spreads if your infected pokemon is your lead and you switch out in battle.

Thats not true... I spread mine on purpose and what do t put the infected poke in the middle and t spreads faster...
