Depending on what version you have you can track down either Latios or Latias in the Kanto region, but in order to get the other one you have to wait for Nintendo to send out an item via wifi

I know that, im not useing cheats , no wifi and .....yet.............the thing is fricken there the one im not supposed to have............could i be destined to own that pokemon.....

better yet......someone tell me what it is.......XD

thew new gold...all the guides clearly say i needed to wait for a wifi gift to get the thing roaming around. but after i got the clefairy doll to get the magnet train pass.....there the guy was talking as if i did the actual event......its sorta creepy

Soul Siver you can chase and catch Latios in Heart gold you can get latias

After walking out of some fan club i ran into someone who says he is from Hoen and basically the same thing happend to me.There is already either latios or latias in the game without the wi-fi event.The event is just to get them both.You see the same guy later at Silph co. where he gives you a Hoen starter
