The Trading Up Game

Okay, so in my group of friends we have this game where we trade up items.

Not real items, just pretend things.
The item itself can be real, or something from a work of fiction.

How you play the game is this.

Quote:

I will take "x".

I will trade up with "y".

The next person will accept and then trade up with an object of slightly higher value.

I want to see how long this will last.

I will trade up with a tube of wasabi flavored toothpaste.
